Gorgeous ink
Having used this in a dip pen and a fountain pen, I have noticed this is a lovely ink to work with. I've had no surface tension when using it with a fountain pen converter, and it works well with dip pens as well. It's a lovely deep blue with a purple sheen. It is a wet ink when used in a fountain pen, and could bleed through your paper if it is completely saturated, but don't let that put you off if you're looking for a nice "blurple" colour like this is.

Lovely ink
A gorgeous, vibrant sapphire blue ink that really makes writing a joyous experience. I recently stopped using it in favour of Noodlers Baystate blue (which is the most vibrant sapphire blue on the market, but extremely high maintenance) but for any pen enthusiast; beginner or veteran, I would highly recommend this ink!

Great blue ink
My go-to ink - much better than Parkers Quink range. This has a gorgeous blue colour, and is perfectly easy to maintain. I've used dozens of inks for my fountain pens but I always make sure I have a bottle of this stuff.

Really nice ink. If you own an a fountain pen, buy this.
Beautiful colour and flows very well. Highly recommended. I have other inks from J Herbin, this is now my standard blue. Very nice.

An excellent product.
A beautiful ink both in terms of colour and functionality. Herbin's, 'Eclat de Saphir' is a deep, rich and vibrant blue coupled with good flow and decent shading. J. Herbin 13016T Ink for Fountain Pen 30 ml Sapphire Blue A big thumbs-up from me.
