These have some great traits.Good appearance. Very good quality foils used for the finish. Economical price. And their performance is very good as well.I often use them as the weight for sabiki rigs... because sometimes while fishing for bait I get a good lil fish out of it.

You should know if you buy these that the hooks included are not the correct size assist hooks for a jig. Assist hooks need to be wider than the width of the jig body by approximately 50%. This way, if the fish bites down on the jig body with at least one hook also in its mouth, when you set the hook, the hook will catch the lip of the fish and dig in as it moves out of the fish mouth. The hooks these jigs have are the exact same width as the jig body, so if the fish gets the whole jig body in its mouth and you set the hook, the whole lot will just slide right out without catching. A small caveat is the third tail hook, which is probably the only thing you'll hook fish on with these jigs.If you buy these, you should plan on replacing at least the two forward assist hooks with larger ones, which makes this rather less of a bargain.

If you're into bottom fishing from a boat or kayak in the ocean, you should get these. It's great to have in your tackle box for those moments that you know you'll catch a large one with a jig that looks like a fish. The details and design on the lures are really good. I can easily tie a knot on the jig's eyelets as well. I think the only thing I'd change is the rear star hook. It looks a bit weak but it will do the job. Tip: add a strong leader line so you won't lose any of the jigs. A must have if you want to catch deep sea dinner.

I've only had one brief opportunity to try these.It was at the end of a day that was mostly spent fishing swim shad and live bait for big stripers.After the striper bite died down it was too late to go running around looking for anything else.I thought it would be a perfect chance to try one of these jigs to see if I could catch a pool fish.I did catch a small bluefish.Nothing to write home about.The jigs do look nice though.I'm pretty sure they'll catch a few more fish in the future.
