First of all, let me address the age-old question of (Do these fit Outliner II?) The answer is a resounding YES!I have had a pair of Andis Outliner II trimmers over twenty years. Although I could have bought a new pair over those 20 years, I have found that simply changing the blades virtually turns these tanks into brand new trimmers!Not all blades are created equal, so when I replace mine I always use the authentic Andis version. These fit my Outliner II just fine.Out of the box, they cut fine, but if you really want them to "Hit"... They need to be zero gapped; which takes about 2 minutes.The way I zero gap mine without using an actual Zero gap tool is to place them up against the bathroom mirror and slide the bottom cutting blade evenly with the top stationary blade.Definitely beats spending money on a new pair!

Andis for African American OLDER men is a staple in our bathrooms. We know what we will get at 100% buying any of their trimmers or clippers over $80. This replacement has a ceramic blade on one side. This does not provide you with a crisp line or edge at all. This actually works much better for body hair maintenace, you will not make your privates bleed with this dull blade. And truly that is the only reason I'm not sending this product back. Make sure that both pieces are metal as originally sold.

The plastic blade doesn’t cut as well as the original

I'll be honest, these blades are very nice looking but do not cut extremely sharp. They get the job done, which is good enough for me. But I would not recommend these for a professional barber. I'm not sure if its the ceramic material because they are not metal blades.

I never knew how badly my Andis Model G trimmer needed a replacement blade set until I purchased these. They installed without any need for adjustment. And then, they operated so quietly that I had to trim some hair to ensure they worked. To my delight, my two-year-old trimmer was as good as new.I am not a barber so I do not claim to offer an expert opinion. That is just my impression as a DIY hair cutter.
