A really good little meter. 8)
Bought because I wanted a spare for the clamp meter that I already had.Decided that being able to interface with a tablet would be really useful, so paid a bit extra, old one is now spare.Really pleased with it, slightly better accuracy than old meter on readings so far. Leads pretty standard. 65cm flex +11cm probes. Looks and feels robust enough for general use.Lots of features. NCV SENSOR(although not adjustable sensitivity), frequency, min/max setting, 400A current clamp meter, and a switchable light.Only slight downside, I think could do with an integrated stand, belt clip and lanyard.(what about selling a silicon half case with these integrated)App is reasonable, although obviously a generic app. Easy to install and use.But two big faults.1) why do all apps seem to need to report back to base everything they are used? Why do I need to log in to the app to use it?2) great that you can save the readings, even in the app itself, they are easy to find, stored by time and date. BUT if you save the data(xls file 8) ) you can't specify where, and they're in an obscure folder(see one of my pics if you're trying to find yours)

Tester with Bluetooth - great option
I bought this for the bluetooth option and having tested this I am pleased with its perfomance. The data recording works well but not sure as yet how I get it into excell. The meter itself is good but yet to be tested on all its measurement settings.

It tried so hard to work. But
It tried so hard to work. But in the end was just as useless as you would expect a product that is 1/10 the price of the top of the range gear.

Fundamentally doesn't work
Predictably doesn't work. I had expected the app/bluetooth not to work but that was the only bit that did :(

Excellent meter with non-contact measuring.
This little unit is an excellent DMM in its own right, with voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, diode checking, frequency, temperature and audible continuity test all rolled into one device. That it's got non-contact voltage detection and a current clamp makes it a very good all-rounder.The basic functions are easy to access via the main dial, and are auto-ranging. You only have to choose some modes which are doubled-up on the dial. The probes are quite decent,. having the safety sheath around the 4mm plug so you can't accidentally electrocute yourself if they aren't fully inserted. The temperature probe is the standard fragile unit most come with, but works well, if a little delicate. The main reason for having this over other meters though is the current clamp, which works surprisingly well and it a lot more accurate than I thought it would be. The non-contact voltage detection is decent enough, but like all other ones I've tried, can't find cables buried in a wall - it has to be quite close to them.Overall it's a decent meter that's accurate (compared to my other solid-state meters) well built and has virtually every function you could want. It comes with a nice case and batteries, although a belt hook and lead clips would have made it perfect. There's an illuminated display, hold, min/max and even relative measurement features.

Excellent clamp meter, annoying App feels like spy-ware.
The Infurider DE-YF-7200B clamp meter does the job, everything works as claimed. It feels durable and should stand up to rattling around in an electrician’s tool box. I do not like the awkward and intrusive App that wants to use your phone. There is something of a learning curve if one is not familiar with this type of meter, and the range selection is often a two step exercise, because the rotary switch is effectively a menu selector, and then an appropriate measurement mode (eg AC or DC) might need to be chosen by some of the four push buttons if it is not the default.Accuracy via the clamp is surprisingly good for a non-contact device, and the plugged-in ranges are as one might expect, matching the specification printed on the outside of the box (don’t throw it away immediately). The display is a bit hard to read with small icons and poor contrast unless the backlight is lit – press the HOLD button for a few seconds to toggle it.Battery life from the two AAA cells is not brilliant if using the backlight and the Bluetooth, but OK otherwise. It turns itself off after fifteen minutes, unless forced to stay on by a long press on the SEL push button. The leads supplied are of decent quality as is the thermocouple probe. The sockets are standard so replacement leads will fit. Replacing the type “K” thermocouple if damaged might need some care in recalibration. The instructions are comprehensive and just about big enough to read despite being crammed into two sides of the A4 sheet. The layout could be a lot better to make functions more easily found and understood. However the App is not a stand-alone thing one can use with a tablet or laptop, and instead requires logging in to a remote host. Why? After seeing the intrusive permissions it requires, my personal opinion was this felt very much like spy-ware, so I deleted it after ten minutes of frustration and annoyance. A shame because this 1* app drags down a meter that is excellent once past the initial learning curve.

Lots of the key functions required on a good multimeter
The multimeter includes probes, temperature probe, screwdriver and AAA batteries and all can fit neatly in a zipped case. As multimeter's go this covers more than what would normally be required for DIY use. As well as being auto ranging so you don't need to manually select and change the settings, it also has min/max function and includes beeper with light for continuity check. Whilst I wouldn't get a lot of use for the clamp its handy to have this built in as it doubles up as a means of allowing you to free up your hands holding the probes as the meter doesn't have any stand. Its straightforward to use and includes a fold out instruction leaflet if you've never used a multimeter before. It was well within the tolerances when I tested. The NCV detector is handy and picks up a voltage from a few inches away. No issues on the build quality and works as well as any Ive used before, even more expensive models.
