Seems to work
It does seem to work and very easy to use. It always displays "NO GOLD" if the item is not gold which is the reason I bought it. However, I have the following concerns:1) Sometimes I get inconsistent results, 10 carat one time then 22 carat the next time for the same item (after filing a small area as described)2) It freezes many times a day so I have to take the battery off then stick it in again to restart.3) The bottons dont work normally, you have to apply pressure to the whole area of the button to register the action! You cant just press it with the tip of your finger like normal buttons.4) It looks and feels cheap, I know we are paying for the technology, but an effort on using more durable and expensive materials would be appreciated.
