Most of the essays are written by no-name power electronics artists, as well as "legends" who may as well be no-name artists. Most of the writing is self-indulgent and overstates the importance or artistic merits of the various artists, labels, and scenes which make up "Noise Music". The free E-Book "Micro-Bionic" seems to deal with the subject of power electronics in a more even-handed way, and I found it to be far more informative than this collection of masturbatory essays.

Got it as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it :)

Superb resource for people interested in extreme electronic music.There is a focus on power electronics obviously but there is so much more information in this book about the entire noise music universe, classic albums and history, written by the people who make the music.Highly recommended as long as your not easily offended
