Cute but lacking durability
The design of these pot holders is fun and whimsical. It's a bummer that you can't choose the color but that's not why I marked it down.The price is acceptable for what you get. You can easily pick up hot pans and pots without burning yourself, although hold onto them for too long and you'll feel the heat.The 4 stars vs five comes from two factors: first the grips are long so getting a firm grip on an object causes the end of the holder/the snout to sometimes get into your food (this happens when pulling pans from the oven vs a pot). The second reason is even though they're silicone they're not very durable. After only a handful of uses the silicone is melting and the seam at the back of the mouth is cracking. They're still usable, I'm still using them, but they wont hold up nearly as long as some other whimsy silicone mitts I own.

Don't buy these.They look WAY BIGGER on here than they actually are. Also, the colors depicted is not what you'll receive. I got two muted, mustard yellow looking ones (awful color, not even similar to the bright yellow shown on here). They came bagged in small plastic wraps that smashed them so much that they were dented, bent wrong and uneven and wouldn't pop back out. Not just that, but they only cover my fingers. It's like a finger puppet or something. This was just a complete misrepresentation and waste of time. I've already boxed them back up for return tomorrow morning.

Doesn’t withstand heat from an oven
Melted and burned my husband’s hand when getting a cookie sheet out of the oven. I think they are best to only be used for pots and pans on a stove
