Moriarty the Patriot 12

The manga came in mint condition. Even though nothing much happens in this volume, love the art and series.

Now I feel like it's finally diverged fully from the source material. I mean there was already a lot of originality and intrigue before but... The cliffhanger at the end of this volume has me absolutely perplexed. Up until now I felt like the story was a hybridization of the Sherlock Holmes and James Bond series. Nicely blended together, with a good dose of interesting choices along the way. But either I don't know enough about the James Bond series, or it's finally taken a completely original twist. That being said, I still find myself not fully engaged with Holmes and Watson. I'm just not that interested in him anymore, there's just too much of it. I find it almost boring at this point. But with the new blending in with the Moriarty spin... I find it interesting again.

There must have been an issue with the printing. There are many pages where the text/images are incredibly faded. The one photo I took is normal colouring, while the second is a faded one. It’s harder to tell online, but in person it’s very frustrating.
