Sturdy
I was concerned how durable these would be. They are half the price of other brands. They are well made and are holding up nicely. Greatly improved my ability to get in and out of my van.

Is sorter kinda.
They installed easy after watching YouTube, but they are not Chrome. They're not even polish aluminum. Is therefore they look a little dull on my truck. I will and get a extended cab step down.

The price is right, but you’ll spend a little time making up for the $
It took me about two hours to install these, at least an hour and a half of that was spent dropping the nut or bolt I was about to install and coming up with new curse words. 🤣My 2005 Chevy Silverado’s factory holes didn’t quite line up with the width of the step’s mounting holes, so I had to drill two holes in each side of the truck. If you go in with a game plan, the right tools, and fingers that can hold a nut or bolt longer than my personal best on this job, 0.337 seconds, I’m confident you’ll be able to finish in about half the time I took.In addition to what’s in the box, you’ll need:1. A power drill2. A center drill bit to start each hole you need to drill in the vehicle (you can get by with a regular bit to start your hole, but you’ll be there for days)3. A metal drill bit set, so you can work your way up from ~1/8” pilot hole to 5/16” final hole. You can also use a step bit.4. A right angle electric ratchet wrench (the more compact, the better for fitting in the tight spaces) OR a regular ratchet wrench.5. Deep well 13mm socket6. A 13mm open end wrench.7. Positive mental attitude.8. Eye pro to keep the seven pounds of road grime and dust under your 20 year old truck from funneling directly into your eyes. The first thing you’ll need to do is get under your vehicle and see what mounting points you have. See last picture for the mounting points my 2005 Chevy Silverado had every ~12” or so (guesstimate, sorry I don’t feel like measuring). The step’s mounting holes are about 8 1/4” apart, see sixth picture. The good news is the two vertical holes pictured lined up with the step when I used the smaller spacer (~3/4”, not measuring) supplied with the step. The unfortunate thing about using this spacer is it brings the step up about 3/4”, which negates some of its utility. However, I was more worried about solid mounting using as many factory holes as I could on my truck, so I used the spacer.Once you decide where you’re going to mount your step (ideally using as many pre-existing holes as possible), you’ll need to widen the top holes on the step for the supplied hardware to fit through it. The 5/16” bit was great for me. If you’re going to drill a hole in your vehicle and use the supplied sheetmetal screw, you don’t need to widen that hole. The bottom holes on the step are already wide enough for the supplied hardware. If you have to drill a hole in your vehicle, mount the step with whatever factory holes you can, tighten down the hardware with the ratchet on one side and the open end wrench on the other. Use the fine point sharpie to mark the locations where you need to drill. Then remove the step again and drill your holes, starting with the center drill bit and working your way up to 3/16” where you’re using a sheet metal screw (top) and 5/16” if you’re using a a nut and bolt (bottom).Reinstall the step, ooga booga the nuts and bolts (using washers on the nut and bolt sides), but don’t put any faith or elbow grease into the sheetmetal screws. In the end, as I mentioned earlier, I would have really loved to have that extra 3/4” lower of a step, but I didn’t want to rely on only one factory hole and three drilled holes with two being sheetmetal screws, so I sacrificed that for a step that I can feel more confident in when my pregnant wife steps on it. I also wish the step was another inch or so farther out to the side, but ultimately, my wife and I are very happy with the product and the price.

Not easy to install
The step is too small to be comfortable enter or exit the truck

Works great for short legs
Good value. I had a body shop install them so I don't know that went. Would order again.

Universal fit for Toyota, Nissan or Jeep
Although it was good quality, it just did not fit Chevy Silverado (2017).. It probably would fit Jeep, Nissan or Toyota trucks. Unfortunately, I missed, thereturn window. The kit arrived but had no install instructions,
