One of the best western films ever made.

6 on the dice

First saw this movie in 1961 and following the latest Magnificent 7 it was necessary to remind myself of this golden oldie. Quite a laugh second time round but very enjoyable. Love the walk put on by Yul Bryner

Amazing picture clarity, but sound volume slightly disappointing. Brought back memories!

Well wort the money

An experienced gunslinger forms a team of mercenaries to protect a Mexican village. Classic Western remake of Akira Kurosawa classic Seven Samurai yes this version is a remake up among the best westerns ever made. Excellent performances from an excellent cast including Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn, James Coburn, Brad Dexter, Horst Bucholz and Eli Wallach with terrific action and tense shootouts. Sequels aren't as good with only Yul Brynner returning for first sequel Return Of TheMagnificent Seven, George Kennedy taking over for third film Guns Of The Magnificent Seven and Lee Van Cleef taking over for the final film The Magnificent Seven Ride which are enjoyable enough but missing the magic of the first film.
