Inflatable Pillow and Fleece Blanket Travel Kit

Not the best quality but for the price I was only interested in the blanket did not use the blow up pillow on my trip as I had an awesome comfortable one I had bought at Walmart. I will rewrite my review after washing the blanket

I took this on my recent trip and found the blanket to be handy when everyone else on the airplane was complaining about how cold it was. I didn't inflate the pillow on this trip. Be aware, however, that the blanket is a typical flimsy airline blanket that they jam-packed with the pillow into a zippered case that seemed bulkier than I wanted to carry in my bag, yet was small enough that it was difficult to get it back into the case after the flight. It washed up well enough but I think I might have to come up with a better method of transporting it (maybe a stuff sack?).

So cheap and small which makes it so good for travel. You have to wash the blankets because they have strong chemical smell. Not a big deal because I always wash new stuff anyway.Update 10/16/2014We used the blanket in the plane as intended. Surprisingly, my 3 kids like it a lot to use it everyday while we were on vacation for a month in a tropical country. The weather was at ~85F day or night. The blanket is not flimsy, it is thick and durable enough to use for 30 days. They use it even when we are at a hotel. The size is just right to grab and go anywhere... in the bedroom, living room, upstairs, downstairs. I don't have to worry that they might step on it and fall on their faces or stairs. I might bring it out again this winter so everybody has their own throw that we can easily snuggle in or tuck away. As a mom, I prefer washing these than the bulky throws.

I needed a replacement blow-up travel pillow and this was the nearest I could find. I did not want to pay much for it. For my purpose the blanket was a complete waste and would have taken up too much space in my carry-on. The pillow worked fine for my cross country trip last October.

I had reservations about this item because it was so inexpensive but it turned out to be perfect for me. I had to make a trip out of town that involved an overnight in coach class on Amtrack and had no time to plan ahead. The pillow inflated easily - about four puffs did the trick - and supported my head so that I was able to sleep comfortably for about five or six hours. The blanket is small but certainly adequate and the whole package is small enough to carry in a large purse or tote bag. Had thought I could throw it away if it was not satisfactory, but instead used it again on the way home, washed it, deflated the pillow and will use it again if the need arises.

It is a good travel pillow once inflated. It did take a short time to inflate, but it took a bit long time to deflate. Had to wait. Would consider another purchase. The blanket was good though.

A beautiful and useful combination for camping or a night outdoors. Soft, durable and easy to pack up and carry. Good value for money.

I am always cold when I travel, either by plane or staying in a hotel so this kit seems to solve that problem it is small enough to fit in a purse or carry on bag. The only downside is once used it is challenging to fit the blanket back into it's original bag. I have not used the travel pillow yet, I hope it holds up well... however, overall I believe this kit is a good value for the money spent and space it takes in a carry on. I highly recommend it.
