Yes, the baskets are tiny, but I think I would have given up starting on something larger. My baskets don’t quite look like the photos in the instructions, but I did finish them. The instructions are simple, have larger print and lots of photos. You can make 6 different baskets using 6 different techniques and different materials. The kit may seem expensive, but they provide everything, including a needle with each basket so more than one person can participate at the same time. If you are trying to decide if basket making is for you, I highly recommend this set.

I liked each basket kit was packaged separately. I bought these for our son who said he wanted to. learn how to weave a basket. I bought your package of 8 different types of baskets. I think he will enjoy them.

My wife and I did a date night where we were crafting and watching movies. Once you get a rhythm going, they come together quickly, but the baskets are quite small.

I bought this as project for an arts and crafts class I host. I do not have experience in basketry so this was my first time. I’d have to say that for someone who has not done any basket making the approximate completion time is off by at least an hour. I am a crafty person and this was difficult for me. My basket used needle and thread and I had to stop because my thumb was so sore. The material quality seemed good. And each basket kit was individually packed with its directions so it was nice and organized. And the variety of techniques was nice. The company has videos online to help which is nice. I do think it was a bit overpriced though. I do not recommend this for kids our gathering had teens and adults and we were struggling. Be aware these baskets are tiny.

Bought as a holiday gift, but it arrived quickly, looks like it should be great for my DIL

At first I almost didn't buy this kit after finding out the baskets were small, but in the end I think it's a great idea. It allowed my daughter to master the technique and complete a project in 1 to 2 days. Plus she loves the small size. It's cute.

The baskets are very small, although this is only listed in photos (that I cannot read from my phone), not in the product description or item specifics. Took longer than expected to ship, materials not high quality, breaking as I weave and had to purchase hemp/jute elsewhere as well as tapestry needle and stalks. Good to learn how to make baskets but not worth the money for a 2" basket that falls apart and some materials are bad upon opening. Instructions could be more clear. Too many bad surprises upon receiving package, not satisfied. I wanted to give it a chance and try a basket anyways and try to leave a good review, but after the first basket I'm wishing I would have just returned it entirely.
