Not suitable for enclosed fixtures or something intermediate blocking infrared. Turn off the power before installation. When install it, you find that the auto light up and off are not work, check the install angle and height. If you install it with sideways wall height should be between 3.12-7.5 feet, when loaded into the roof type height should be 12.8-13.1 feet, otherwise it will affect the angle sensor. If it auto light up every 3s and light off every 60s and it repeats that, now you should check whether there's person or animal moving around it, or they are close to the hot air or air condition,you can take the bulb to another room for checking.

Light will not stay on
The good: Light comes on every time we walk into the kitchen. Stays on for a minute then if not in the room it shuts off.The bad:The problem we have with this light is it goes off after a few minutes with you still in the kitchen. You then have to wave your arm under the light or walk out the room and back in to get the light to come back on. Normally if we are going to stay in the kitchen we just switch on the other light, but for those that do not have a second light option I would not recommend this item.

I ordered 2 of these and neither would work. ...
I ordered 2 of these and neither would work. Where is the quality control? Returning them now for a different manufacturer.Also these type of bulbs go on the fritz every few months. Either out all together or constantly blinking.

Not very responsive to movement
I would have liked a more movement sensitive light bulb for my outdoor walkway lighting.
