BerghausMen's Deluge Waterproof Breathable Overtrousers

These overtrousers work well and represent good value at the price I paid (which was substantially less than RRP). I like the combination of side zips and snaps which make putting them on and taking them off a doddle. (The zips permit good ventilation once the rain has eased off). No fly or side pocket access for maximum waterproofing.

I have just finished walking a very wet West Highland Way in these Berghaus Deluge waterproof over trousers, and they are appropriately named because it rained a Deluge for the most part of our 6 day adventure and I remained completely dry underneath. I was also wearing the Berghaus Deluge waterproof shell jacket which I would also recommend for all the same reasons. These products are made to a very high quality, are comfortable yet feel fairly rugged. Just remember, these are only waterproofs, so you may need some extra layers underneath for warmth, but I found a simple tracksuit bottom and a double layer of long sleeve T shirts was more than enough to keep me warm during early October in Scotland. One other final bonus is the way you can unzip the sides from the bottom to get them on or off with boots still on. There are no pocket slots, but there is another side zip each side which unzips from the top that allows you to get to your to your pockets underneath although I didn't use these as I kept items such as map, phone etc.. in the jacket pockets. All in all I would highly recommend this product so you need look no further.

I was sceptical that they would be this good. I had a cheaper pair that worked for a bit then allowed the water to soak right in. But these (so far) are proving to be completely waterproof. Used in sustained heavy rain. I think that the double skinned construction helps. Elasticated waist and generous legs, so the fit is quite forgiving. Very happy. If only I could find boots this waterproof...

Very baggy in comparison to my Gore-Tex Berghaus trousers. Durable and waterproof though so it's ok. Bought these for when I'm cycling in the rain. Needed something cheaper than my Gore-Tex ones incase I fell off the bike.

Bought these before, they are waterproof and easy to get on and off. The side zips allowing you to quickly put them on especially when outdoors without having to worry about struggling to get on over boots.

They seem ok and keep the water out, ive not had a heavy rainfall since getting them but for what rain im had on a bike they ok

Very well made. Zippers are very nice. Easy to put on over my big winter boots. Wish they had belt loops and more pockets.. Material and stitching seems like they will last for years to come.

Good quality free moving zip and poppers make these trousers very easy to get on and off.Lightweight, they are also great for cold weather as an extra layer to keep the wind out.They are small enough to roll up and carry 'just in case'.Very pleased with these trousers; they will get a lot of use.

Moin,bei einer Tour zur Arbeit von 10km hab ich mir mal diese Hose gegönnt.Kam jetzt schon paar mal zum Einsatz.Lässt sich gut über Sicherheitsschuhe anziehen. Geht auch gut über die bestückte Arbeitshose.Was aber am wichtigsten is, sie scheint das Wasser gut abzuhalten. Hier und da vielleicht mal ein nasser Fleck. Das is aber nicht schlimm.
