When I was a little girl, I had a small pillow that had a pocket sewn onto it in which I could place my teeth for the Tooth Fairy to take & she would, in turn, leave some quarters or a dollar bill tucked into the pocket. I now have two children of my own & have been wanting something like this for years. My son is past the age of believing in the Tooth Fairy but my daughter is 6 & already has lost several teeth. When she places the tooth under her pillow, I can never find it without waking her up. I've tried having her place the tooth inside a little pouch, which helps but it's still tricky. This little pillow should make things A LOT easier for us all. It's very cute & well made. It's the perfect size for laying on the bed, next to her pillow. With the attached string, it could even be hung from a bedpost or doorknob. Now, the only issue is preventing her from playing with the pillow & misplacing it before her next tooth comes out. I've got it hanging on her bedroom doorknob & have explained that she should leave it there so we have it ready for when we need it. So far, she's left it alone. Very cute & useful item!

I ordered this for my little girl who had her first lose tooth. Tonight she finally lost it and she was able to put her tooth into the pocket of the pillow by herself. Then she went to hang it on the door handle. She will be so excited in the morning, when she wakes up to find her tooth fairy money.
