Working well and looks good

When the freezer arrived it was covered in sticky tape, had a small dent on the front and the seal had a gap in it making it ice up inside within 24 hours. It clearly was not a new freezer but a repackaged one. Once I complained Amazon did change it very quickly, sent out a new freezer and collected the faulty one. The new freezer is fine now, does not ice up and is very quiet, so I am now quite happy with it.

Bought specifically to use in my garage when the first hint of the first lockdown started (2020). Had inadvertently ordered a different one initially and only realised shortly afterwards that you need freezers that are capable of being used in unheated spaces, which the other one was not. Soon rectified and this one arrived within a week. We bulk cook all of our meals and freeze in portions to make life easier. We can no easily go for three months between shops for the bulk of our main meals (other than fresh veg and salad). This added capacity is a god send! As for use, the freezer held its own over the really hot summer stuck in a hot garage, no complaints. Defrosted once so far this year. Probably opened about once to twice per week. Keeps things frozen solid - even though fully crammed with produce. Don’t know about cost usage but haven’t noticed any significant bill hike. Plenty of room to store things with lots of options (drawers and doored shelves). Also very quiet in use - hardly know its on. Really pleased with purchased.

We wanted a second freezer as a backup in our (well-insulated) garage but found very few available that were the right size to fit into the space. I didn't realise that there are freezers made under the Russell Hobbs brand but their small kitchen stuff like kettles and toasters is OK so I ordered it. I've loaded it up with frozen veg, mince, fish, bread, etc. so we shan't go hungry if we can't get supermarket deliveries for a while during the Covid winter ahead.You can swap the door round to open the other way (I didn't need to) and the instruction booklet is written in proper English. You aren't supposed to plug it into an extension lead, so work out the nearest socket and see if you can position it to plug in directly.

We wanted to hang the freezer door so the handle was on the right so bought this item as this was possible. However, we had to send one freezer back because one of the screws holding the door hinge could not be unscrewed. We had to wait another weeks for a replacement freezer only to find the same sort of problem with another bolt. Finally, soaked the part in DW40 and had to get a plumbing tool to finally get the bolt unscrewed and get the freezer door hung in the desired position - right ole faff. The supplier was fine and very helpful but Russell Hobbs need to supply parts, which are designed to be adjusted, are not machine screwed in.

Bought to replace old chest freezer. Not as much storage as hoped but sturdy drawers, freezes quickly and efficiently.

Great Looking Freezer , looks more expensive than it costs , It fitted perfectly in the spot that i had . The drawers inside are a good size and IWas able to fit a good amount in each . All the drawers are easy to access too , This freezer is ideal for a family .Its is very quiet when switched on . Has a good seal around the door .I cant find anything toFault it with at the mo Good value for money !

I have an integrated fridge freezer, but wanted more freezer space. I carried out a lot of research before settling on this one. I have had it for a couple of months now and it has revolutionised our eating habits! I can now cook ahead and freeze home made cooking (no more reaching for fast/processed foods). One thing of note is that a couple of reviewers mentioned it has very flimsy drawers. I was concerned about this but have found the drawers are absolutely fine; especially if opened with due care and attention. To be honest, they are not much different to my much more expensive integrated unit. I am extremely pleased with this freezer and would highly recommend it!
