Cute enough to get their attention
My nieces really like this starter for live action. They have already looked for more and larger versions. It is the perfect gift to get bright young minds engaged.

Brings joy to girls everywhere
Just gave this to a five year old and her eyes lit up like Christmas and Hanukah all rolled into one!My eight year old also has this and loved putting it together and seeing the nature and of course the unicorns!

Tons of dun
I bought this for a co-workers daughter for her birthday. She loved it and had a ton of fun putting it together. I would buy it again!

Magical Kit lights up
The media could not be loaded. This light up terrarium kit has a small light underneath the lid that comes with a USB cord to recharge. The directions say the light will last approximately 4 hours. There is an on/off switch located on top of the lid. The kit came with chia and wheat seeds. It has step by step easy to follow instructions on setting it up. I bought this for when my granddaughters visit (6&8 years old), they love to do crafts! I believe this will keep them busy for hours painting the unicorns, castle and rainbow and putting it together. It does recommend you place it in a sunny spot and turn the light on in the evening for a truly magical glow.Granddaughters had a blast painting and putting this lighted terrarium together, took them most of the day! (See photos of finished craft). Now we're just waiting for the seedlings to pop up.

Neat craft for daughter, but mold developing?
My daughter enjoyed putting this together but we've noticed some fuzzy white mold forming inside the container. We are keeping an eye on it. Otherwise its was a neat craft for her creative little mind.

Really pretty and fun, wish the pieces were easier to paint
I wish the figurines were easier to paint because that was definitely the hardest part for me, as well as getting it to grow properly. It comes with everything you need but if you have more precision paint brushes around, I'd use those to get all of the details right. You also do need actual batteries so make sure you have some AAA around. Overall I like this idea and I think it's fun for kids who want their own plant and terrarium that they can decorate themselves.
