This is such good value for money! A lot of Montesorri-style toys can be very expensive, as you are paying for the quality of the product and the thought that goes in to the design, but at £10 this is an absolute bargain!Everything is made of wood, very sturdy and smooth, so no sharp edges or flimsy breakable bits. The base toy is a wooden shape sorter-style box but on wheels so it can double as a vehicle in play. The shapes that come with it are chunky and colourful. Some are designed to fit on the sides of the box and others have little holes that match up with the pegs on top of the box, for a little bit of a trickier challenge slotting them on top.Not only can you use this to practice colours and shapes with your little one, but the peg board aspect allows you to look at numbers, stacking and even some basic sums, so this toy has a lot of shelf life right up to school age.I wouldn't recommend it for little ones who are still at the 'putting everything in their mouth' stage of development unless supervised (because of the slimmer stacking shapes) but it is ideal for any child 1+ to school age and would make a lovely gift!

This wooden shape sorter toy will last for years, it’s manufactured to a high standard, there are no sharp edges it’s a safe fun product.Obviously it’s an educational toy that helps tots to learn shapes and colours.Some of the piece have holes in for building too.This will make an excellent gift as it arrives boxed.Highly recommended.

This is a very nice and educational wooden toy, the shape sorter toy arrives very nicely presented in a cardboard box , would make a nice gift .the shapes are very well made and vibrant colours , also the waggon looks very good quality, strong and sturdy .no sharp corners only round edges , and what I like the most is the fact that the top lid can be turned upside down to store all the shapes inside nice and neat between the uses. Very good for hand eye coordination, recognising/learning shapes and colours ,concentrations skills also.

I love this newer generation of wooden baby toys. The colours and build quality are really good. My 1 year old loves playing with the shapes and matching them to the holes. The paint is vibrant and good quality - none has come off in spite of quite rough use (throwing etc).This has the feel of a toy that will last and hopefully be passed on - much better that your usual plastic options! Highly recommended

The media could not be loaded.  I prefer wooden toys over plastic as I feel they are more environmentally friendly and look better in general.This is well made and sturdy, the colours are bright and everything fits together really well without being forced.This has multiple functions. It will definitely help with hand eye coordination and shape learning, then it can be stored away within itself once you have finished which is really handy.The price point is what I would expect to pay for something like this and is something I would pay as it will last and can be kept and handed down.

From matching and learning shapes to counting and learning colours...Ideal for your child's development of fine motor skills....Could be used from ages 1 to 4 also good for children with additional needs to help them focus and stay in task...Look and feel like they are solidly made and painted...Love that it's wood and not plastic.. Could pass this on to other children and families once your child has outgrown it...Also ideal for nursery and primary early years setting...
