BOSCH 2 in. x 12 in. SDS-max Tile Chisel Hammer Steel HS1915

Made reasonably quick work of removing tile and thinset from my kitchen floor. It took about 2 hours to remove about 100 ft² of tile and thinset that was installed on a concrete floor. The self-sharpening design works better than I expected. It remained fairly sharp the entire time.

This chisel is so useful... Not just in tile removal either. I had a hard time removing some glued down wood flooring because you had to always be hammering with an angle to get under the flooring. This chisel is bent and gets under wood flooring perfectly. Made it a lot easier to pry up with the sds hammer. Highly recommend!

I removed 2600 feet of Saltillo tile and managed to do 2000 feet of it with one of these chisels. I had a grinder handy and re-dressed the chisel once a day. (If you do this, be careful not to get the metal hot... go slow and don't take the temper out of the steel. Dip it in water between grinds if need be to keep it cool.)My BOSCH 11316 SDS MAX roto hammer went through the tile like an ice breaker with this chisel blade on it. I bought three of these, just to have spares, and am very glad I did. Awesome for tile.

I bought and used this to remove tiles. It worked great. Unfortunately, the thick set stuck too well on the floors. I had to break out the mortar bed, also. I worked very well on the walls. I'm glad I have it in my tool box. I may get a lighter rotary hammer for my next shower demo, though. My arms were pretty tired.

This helped me remove tile and a lot of glued down wood floors. The slight angle of the flat chisel really helps with removal of these items. Made it so much easier. I removed about 1200 sqft of glued down wood floors. I would highly recommend this product.

I thought it was over priced however, its well made

I purchased this for use in a Bosch SDS-Max hammer drill. I had to bust up some tile and mortar bed in a tile shower that I had to fix a leak in the liner near the drain. This made short work of the repair. I had to get this online because all of the Lowes and Home Depots near me only stocked the smaller SDS plus accessories.

Only thing that helped me take up tiles from my floor. Took them up quickly

I needed this to strip ceramic off a concrete wall and floor. It worked flawlessly for that application. Highly recommended.

If these were available in a bit longer length they would be better. I have a dust shroud on the end of my hammer and it doesn't fit the best due to it not being long enough. If you don't mind breathing in Mortar dust, then you will be fine.
