This was great for postpartum baths, I feel like it really did help my healing and pain. The only downside is it'd very oily. It left my tub and my body really greasy.

I think my initial review posted by mistake ....some glitch in the system ... so here is the full review.The seller contacted me an asked for an "honest" product review so I am providing that for them. I rarely leave reviews ... only those like .. REALLY do not buy this product ... but, this is an excellent product so I thought I would waiver from my usual pattern and leave something positive.I had surgery and the incision was not healing. I had listened to what the surgeon had told me to do ( for over two weeks) and still no progress so I decided to do it my way ... good old sitz baths and Epsom Salt. But while ordering the sitz bath this product came up and, after reading the reviews, I decided to order it. Within a week, the incision has begun to heal nicely and I am well on the road to recovery. I still about another week to be 100% but I feel sure this product will get me where I need to be.Will always have this product on hand for the occasional use.

I was hesitant to spend $25 on a tiny bag of epsom salts when you can get a bigger bag for $4 at any store, but let me tell you -- it was WORTH IT. The thing to understand is that this sitz bath formula is super concentrated, mixed together with dead sea salts, witch hazel, soothing oils and essential oils. They do NOT skimp on the essential oils and one of them is the very expensive (but incredibly anti-inflammatory) Frankincense oil -- hence the price tag, I think. When you factor in the amount of essential oils, I would not be able to make the same salt mixture at home for less.This soak is not intended to be used by the cupful in a large bathtub, like other epsom salts. The bag comes with a tiny wooden scoop and you only need 1-2 scoops per sitz bath so the bag lasts a long time. It feels very soothing on my sore postpartum perineum and I've healed faster than expected which I think is due in part to using this soak several times per day. I'm very glad I took a chance on this product.

I love this product so much I bought it a second time. Although I've never had children, I use this soak for injuries or when I'm feeling under the weather or if I just want to take a bath. It adds a wonderful scent to the tub and my skin and I never feel oily or greasy coming out, yet my skin is always so smooth and hydrated I don't need to apply lotion. Great Product!!! Love this so much. And it's a small company and I love supporting those types of businesses!

I truly believe a hot morning bath after the first morning feeding was KEY to healing my two tears after child birth. I felt that the morning baths, every day after coming home from the hospital, helped me heal in like 2 weeks! The smell was nice and it was my morning routine after a night of feedings. Include these in any post partum care package for you or another new mom. The little wooden scoop was cute.

I used this after I had my baby, I put a little in the peri bottle each time I filled it up. I gifted a bag to a friend, and I'm buying it again as I'm preparing for baby #2

This stuff is amazing! I used it has a sitz bath once daily after my daughter was born. I healed in three days!! Then I was really sore and raw from breastfeeding so I added half a cup to a regular bath and soaked in it a few nights. I was completely healed after 2 or 3 days. I now buy this for every baby shower I go to. It is total worth the money, it smells great and makes my skin super soft
