I am new to affiliate marketing. I needed a book to teach me more about blogging. I did a search on Amazon and came across Mike Omar's book; "How To Start A Blog That People Will Read". I ordered the book and after I received it and started reading, I was impressed by the author's willingness to teach you not only everything he knew about the subject, but also teaching how to create a website in a very simple way and easy to understand writing style, accompanied by more guidance and useful links. In my opinion the author is very knowledgable about internet marketing in general and his goal is to teach everything he knows to his readers, which is very important. I just ordered all of his other books available on Amazon. I also visited his website and subscribed to his YouTube video channel. Mike Omar is knowledgable and honest. I wish him the best of success, and I will follow his guidance on my affiliate marketing endeavor.

This is a clearly written step by step manual to help you gain success in the world of blogging for income. I particularly appreciated the information on the difference between white hat SEO and black hat SEO and the consequences of the latter. The author goes to the basics of what a page rank is and reveals some of Googles' secrets. It helps you know how to get started in creating your blog right from what topics to pick to how to involve Social media sites in your blog promotion. You also learn how to legitimately establish an income over time. I appreciate the honesty of the author as there are many out there that want you to believe that money online can be made overnight - which is simply not true.This book provides great value as there are additional website links that you can go to for further training or information. I am an avid blogger and am keen on making money online however, it has been a long process that has required hard work. A lot of the steps that the author provides i found out myself on the internet however, it was a long hard process that will be avoided when you get this book as it's all laid out for you. I have purchased many e-books on this subject and downloaded many free ones but i must say that this one has explained the things i needed to know that i couldn't find out myself. One of them was "believe it or not' what is a back link and how it relates to your page rank. This is a great resource for the serious bloggers out there and i'm grateful that i came across it.

Awesome book for the money. There are numerous tips throughout this book and links-so you might want the kindle version! I have a second book of his on the same subject, they are both excellent. The second is titled "How to Make Money Online: Learn how to make money from home with my..." and will have some material will be the same between the two, but it is worth having both. I have some background in the material presented in the book, but there were plenty of tips to consider and some things I was not aware of. If you want to make money with a blog online, this book will show you how to do it, but you will have to put in some serious time to do so. And you might fail at some of your sites and regardless whom you use for hosting- get at least the middle plan and you will be happier!

This book is about making money from your blog. To build the blog the author uses the Wordpress platform, which provides templates and tools for people to create a web site without having to write any code. The author provides introductory guidelines for making money in the book and a large number of links to his web site for more detailed information. This is a pretty common method of collecting the reader's email so the authors can build a large mailing list, where the reader in exchange for getting information agrees to receive additional marketing email from the author. I have provided my email in exchange for additional information in the past, and some of these sign ups resulted in daily emails for ever. Many authors provide the bonus material early in the book, but it is always best to make the decision later once you determine you truly like the style of the author so you will be sure you will like the additional content you will be getting on continuous basis.The book contains an introduction to a number key topics. I say introduction because the topics are not covered in great detail. For example, explaining how to set up a web site could have been more clear if it had more than one screen shot. The author touches on building Wordpress website, SEO, monetizing, affiliates, mailing list, advertising. The information in the book is not unique but it is a good summary of common approaches to to monetizing your blog. I would have preferred all additional information to be included in the book without having to sign up on the web site.Ali Julia review

I have been doing research online about blogging, but I always had several questions unanswered. As such, I was uneasy about starting my own blog. This book gave me all the information I needed and answered many, if not all, of the questions I had. He has several videos online that expand on the contents of the book, and I will be looking them up as I work, but the contents of the book alone was well worth it and enough to get me started. One of the best books I have read so far!

I'd been thinking of building a website for a while but I honestly didn't have a clue how to go about it. I bought this book and honestly, it's the only one you'll need unless you really want to get deeply involved in the more advanced areas.Combined with all the free video tutorials Mike Omar has on his website you really do have everything you need not only to build your site, get it SEO optimised and monetised if you want to make some money while blogging.I'm glad to say I now have an active blog up and running and thanks to the information Mike provides I'm working on building traffic and getting myself out there and I haven't needed to go anywhere else for the information I've needed.It's great to find a resource that actually does what it says, not to mention all the extra, completely free resources on the authors website. The book is well worth the investment.

I gave this book 5 stars for how easy it was to follow. I also like all the links and the resources offered for free with the book. I'm now a big fan and will be implementing all the ideas in my new blog site.
