need to find a 12v 5w light for your GE Refrigerator, this works great and is much brighter than a standard bulb.

I purchased this for that little light bulb that is needed for my water dispenser light and it fit like a charm. The quality is pretty good and the appearance of the light is bright. The color and or temperature is more of a bright white. I will be repurchasing in the future.

When i have a guest staying over I like to leave the turn the water dispenser light on at night. The old incandescent bulb would get HOT. Decided to replace it with one of these. Perfect.

Did not work for my application

I was tired of replacing the incandescent yellow dimly lit bulb every couple of months. Since this design (poor design at that) requires a 12 volt AC bulb, forget about finding it at a big box or hardware store! Sure you can find 12 volt AC bulbs but not with the candelabra base, 7ish watt equipment, in a small package. And it's even harder to find in an LED version! So, if you're reading this, ya probably are well aware of the few choices at your fingertips. I recommend you consider these bc they do a great job, they're clean, cool to the touch, no flickering/buzzing and the price is fare!!! Just click the "buy it now" and quit wasting your money on the useless incandescent bulbs!!!
