RussellCollection Men’s Short Sleeve Easy Care Oxford Shirt (White, 20 inch)

I bought this shirt for my husband as he wanted this colour to go with a black jacket for a funeral. It's hard trying to choose the right size and so I measured his neck which was 18 1/2" and waited with bated breath after ordering. The shirt came on time and it was immediately obvious that it was a quality shirt. The material is very soft and ironed well after washing, in fact it hardly creased at all. My only gripe f I must be totally honest, is the fact that it was quite large in the body. My hubby has a bit of a tum and I though the fit would be good as it would hide the evidence of too many beers, but it was a bit on the baggy side for the neck size. Having said that it will look ok under his jacket and I would buy again, and choose a smaller neck size as he does not often have to wear a tie !

I recently bought the 18.5 in this shirt and the shirt is fine apart from the size which was very generous and too big so i sent for 2 more in sizes 18 and this 17.5 in the same shirt. The 18 is spot on however the 17.5 felt like 3 sizes too small and i couldn't even get it over my shoulders. So be careful in your choice because 1 half a size or 1 full size feels like miles apart when tried on. The service is excellent, the shirt is very good for the price and once you have the correct size sorted then i would recommend it no problem.

The fabric feels of a good quality, fits as expected for its collar size with a good body length. I would say the cloth is heaver than my other short sleeve shirts i have worn, this adds the feel of it being a higher standard of make. However there is a serious issue with the colours of the blue shirts on this webpage Russell Collection Mens Short Sleeve Easy Care Oxford Shirt (20inch) (Oxford Blue)  The Oxford blue is dark, when it arrived i got the lighter blue which shows up as Aztec. The packaging stated Oxford and when you order it the product shows as the lighter product. Once this is cleared up the i would give it 5 stars.

I usually buy 18.5 collar shirts, and ordered five shirts for daily use. Had I taken notice of a previous feedback I would have ordered the 18, which is what I ended up doing anyway. The 18.5 had a mass of material in the body, the 18 however (although the sizes on the packaging suggests they are the same chest size), fit much better with a more comfortable amount of material spare. So far I have found they wash, tumble dry and iron with minimum effort and the material feels as though it is thick enough to last a good amount of time. I will definitely buy again.

I had a few of these shirts, and good quality and fit. Washes great (irons too) but problem is the colour shown not even a close match to the one I got.

Excellent quality material with good stitching. Size larger than stated on website sizing chart and on product packing. I prefer clothes to be on the larger side but other people may find themselves ordering size smaller than normal.

It's just not a very nice looking shirt honestly, it's kind of formless, has an off-black tone and the feels quite cheap, which it is.If you're getting this for a job, consider splashing a bit more cash, or looking a little harder for something better tailored to you, during my time in retail I found I rarely wore this shirt.

This shirt is of excellent quality but unfortunately just too large, however I have now ordered a smaller size which fits perfectly. I would say it is not that there is anything wrong with the sizing it is just that we overestimated size. Excellent service from seller as I have returned larger size with no problem
