Its a great mailbox we had it a couple of days but the mail carrier refuses to put any mail in the locked box, instead puts mail on top of the locked box. I don't know why. We have left notes and stuffed the top but instead he or she pulled block and puts mail there. Its obvious this is a locking mail box. I will update later when issue with the mail carrier is resolved.

The locking "door" isn't a full door, it's a half door so anyone can stick their hand inside the so called "locking door and steal your mail! Defeats the purpose. Don't waste your money.

The post office won't deliver mail to this box. In order to put items in the secured slot, they have to fold my mail, and this is too time-consuming. Now I have to leave the thing unlocked on the inside. Before you waste your money, check with your post office before buying.

It is just what I needed. Only complaint is the key doesn't go into the lock easily.

We were having some trouble with someone taking our mail - sometimes just throwing it on the ground. There are a bunch of mailboxes in a row and I didn't have the option of doing a big custom box. This one is exactly the same size as a standard box and fit nicely in the place of our old box. The inside locking area is slick and works great. It also prevents the mailman from sticking packages in the box (so they must be delivered to the door)Comes with mounting hardware and screws - Im happy with the purchase.

May not 100% prevent mail theft but so far it has been working. Had a crazy old neighbor who would steal my mail and actual mail theft by people driving around and getting into our mailboxes. So far they have kept my mail safe.

We were having problems with our mail being stolen out of an unlocked stand alone mailbox. Problem solved! Postperson had no problem with the lock. Plenty of room inside both locked part and larger area fir magazines and such.
