The beauty
This is truly an amazing book. Beautiful and with a delicate story about friendship, Jenny Desmond is a guarantee about children's books. I suggest it for two, three years old kids and above.

This is a great book and I think that kids would definitely enjoy it
On the Night of the Shooting Star is a book that emphasises that no matter how different you are, you can still be friends. When Rabbit and Dog see a shooting star at the same time they soon become friends, even though they have lived near each other for a long time and never spoken before. Also, the book points out that if you don’t know someone it doesn’t mean they aren’t a good person, you just don’t know them, so don’t know what they are like.I thought this story would be nice for a younger child, or for those just learning to read as the font was large and the full page, bright pictures helped to understand what is happening. This is a great book and I think that kids would definitely enjoy it. It’s not a humorous book, but it was entertaining.Book Reviewed on Whispering Stories Blog*I received a free copy of this book, which I voluntarily reviewed

Charming little picture book for young readers
We got this from the library and it is completely charming. The illustrations are cute, the language simple but alluring and the message makes you feel good inside.But... it's the sort of book you'll read once or twice for bedtime and that's about it. So I hesitated between 3 stars and 4. Basically you have to ask is it worth $15 and shelf space? I'm not convinced, but that might be because our kids are outgrowing this sort of picture book. So it might be worth hitting the library first.

Strangers Unknowingly Seeking Friends
Bunny lives on one side of the fence and Dog lives on the other. They each go about their lives and seem rather content. However, there are times when they look at each other and Bunny thinks, "Dog needs a friend," while Dog looks at Bunny and thinks, "Bunny needs a friend." ON THE NIGHT OF THE SHOOTING STAR, their lives change completely and for the better.
