I'd save your money....
ok, so, first impressions are that it looks very cheaply made and I don't expect it will last too long.As for "shooing" away flies....well.....my results very mixed and I think and its effectiveness is pretty much limited to the length of the rotating fins and we ended up just turning it off as the motor seemed to be very temperamental and often just stopped. even with endless new batteries we were unsure if it was working as designed, or just had a rubbish motor (FYI - I travel to Spain a lot and tested this during numerous summer trips).If it was cheaper I'd suggest giving it a try, but for the price I paid, I wont be buying another.

so totally useless. The one we bought as a present got ...
bought three ,one as a present. Mine worked well the first couple of times , but then the top came loose on one of them ,so totally useless.The one we bought as a present got knocked over on the table the top came off and again useless. lovethe idea but needs to be sturdier. Its for outside use . Would not recommend.

Amazing product! I had problems initially as it wasn't working properly but they rang me up personally and swiftly replaced the product. Really helps keep flies away at our dinner table which is great as they've been horrendous this summer. Great company to deal with and a brainwave of a product.
