They are definitely strong and keep my Coleman canopy anchored down just fine even on windy days.

These guys are solid ! Do not forget your hammer and maybe a small 2x4 for leverage , you are not pulling these out by hand.

I like this product for what MY needs are. I've had to evacuate for hurricanes with pets so, on these occasions, I drive my tent and equipment and supplies and do not need to carry them on my back. These stakes are very sturdy and solid with a broad surface and strong enough to take direct hammer strikes. Also they are long enough to get good grip (11"). If you are hiking I wouldn't recommend as they are clearly too heavy for a pack. All parts are steel, nice sturdy storage bag. Great description. Would buy again but don't think I'll need to as these seem built to last.

My tent came with super flimsy and tiny stakes, so I grabbed a set of these. They’re beefy but easy to hammer into the ground. My tent was so secure. But they were also relatively easy to remove from the ground. A great investment for your tent. Highly recommend!

These are some of the heaviest tent pegs I've ever seen. They are not for a "light weight" kit! They are good quality and made well. The only thing that keeps me from giving a 5-star is that there were a few that were bent. Completely usable as they are but, I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Nothing a hammer wont fix (just like straightening a nail).

We bought these to stake down inflatable Halloween decorations. The usual stakes they send are totally useless in our soft ground here. These are perfect. I staked right through the loop into the ground and my decorations withstood the windy nights leading up to Halloween while my neighbors fell over consistently.

Seriously. If you are car camping (backpacking with these is a bit overkill and weighs you down) these are the best stakes I have purchased (I have tried 4 different brands). There is no way any of my stuff was going anywhere in the 25-35 MPH winds. Has holes for tie downs as well, an arm to pull them out easily. All around great product.

We were camping in some high winds recently and tent pegs began to snap all over the place.Not mine.These bad boys can take it. Ordered some more when I got home.
