Best Quality
Dickinson simply makes the best. This cap because of it's shape can be fairly close to the outside cabin wall and not cause a downdraft in the wind or expose the wall to the exhausted heat. Just the radiated heat from metal. Mine is about 8" from the cabin wall not extended above the cabin. I have checked many times the wall is barely warm and I have had no more issues with downdrafts. (Had 2 with the round cap. Stunk up my cabin for a week) Expensive? Yes it is but after you get it you'll see it is worth the cost and safety.

This is my second one I've installed on my other set up. They may be a bit expensive but the quality is great and most of all it looks way more appealing than any other cap I could find.

working good in windy conditions
Replaced a standard cap with this H style cap because I'd had a couple of backdraft events in windy conditions. So far gusts to 30kts has not caused stove to backdraft. I'm happy with the switch.
