I was looking for a review I could trust and couldn’t find one I believed fully so here’s this honest review from me to you.I’ve used it for both my tattoos, one being a forearm and the other being on my hand I got done today. I applied a very thick layer on the area and wrapped with saran Wrap an hour and half before my appointment. My artist already had my designs done, while I make a few changes he wiped the cream off and we did stencils. He started tattooing and I didn’t even feel it. There were a few spots I didn’t feel it a little bit. It didn’t feel great it obviously hurt but it wasn’t super bad to where I could bear it. Took about 45 mins and didn’t really feel anything for the most part. As any tattoo it’s gonna be a little sore after. Went out to eat, area around my tattoo was still numb, at home and it’s still numbing starting to wear off. 4:30-almost 10pm it feels odd still.Overall I would recommend I will probably try another one to see if there’s a brand where I won’t feel anything at all but if anything else fails I’ll go back to using this one!

I've never used numbing creams before getting tatted. But, I purchased this cream because I was planning on getting my first large tattoo piece (covers my entire lateral thigh). I was very nervous and didn't know if I could sit through 4 hours under the needle (total time ended up being closer to 5 hours). I read through the reviews and purchased this as it seemed to be a decent product for the price. I applied the numbing cream and stuck some plastic wrap to it. I didn't wrap my entire thigh, just loosely let the plastic wrap stick to the area with cream on it. I planned to leave it on up until stencil placement at the shop. The cream and plastic wrap stayed on for a total of 2.5 hours. And boy was it numb! BUT! My artist began to try to wipe away the cream and I noticed it was taking a while and he looked concerned. The cream would not wipe off. He used soap and water and even tried alcohol! Disclaimer: I do think I left it on entirely too long. In reviews, I had seen to apply it an hour before your appointment. But it took longer than expected to get started. With that being said, my artist began to give me his opinion of using numbing creams all together. He told me that these creams act as a vasoconstrictor (look it up) and it could have long term affects on how the ink settles into your skin and the overall healing of the tattoo. He told me that he knows people who have had to get tattoos re-done or covered up later down the road because of numbing creams. Like I said, this is a large piece and of course it was expensive. I didn't want to take the risk by using the cream and then something goes wrong later. So per his recommendation, I changed the location and got the other thigh done instead. I do believe the cream would have worked had I chose to tattoo the numb leg. My leg FINALLY regained feeling approximately 9 hours after initially applying it. So if numbing creams before tattoos are your thing and you've never personally had an issue with them, I'd definitely recommend this product.

I love this I been using it for 2 years for my Brazilian waxes & tattoos. Put it on 1 hour before and it for sure numbs the areas. Worked great on my armpit tattoo didn’t feel a thing

I used this product for a tattoo session on the inside lower part of my arm, followed instructions and it didn't numb my arm at all! I have used other numbing creams and they worked great this product is advertised for 6 hours which is why I decided to try it and regretted every minute of it. Should have stuck with my normal numbing cream!

I have tried another numbing cream which would only last MAYBE an hour. So I wanted to try another one. I had an appointment at 9:00 a.m. this morning so I put the cream on at 7:30 a.m. As the instructions say, I wiped down the area with a paper towel soaked in warm water to open my pores. Then I put the cream on and wrapped it pretty tight. Every 20 minutes or so I massaged the area to make sure it settled in. When I tell you I felt nothing… I FELT NOTHING. I got some pretty heavy shading done on two pretty decently sized tattoos and barely felt the vibration of the needle. I am typing this at 11:30 and my whole arm is still completely numb. When I have early appointments, I always get light headed/almost pass out when the session starts but not at all this time. Just follow the instructions and do a patch test and you’ll be good! Def recommend this for longer appointments or anyone who would rather go without the pain of getting a tattoo. 10/10!!!
