There's a reason this shoe company has been in business for as long as it's been, and that's because Taos always delivers top quality, well sewn, comfortable footwear. I've suffered from plantar fasciitis for years, and this is the only brand that gives me relief, while as the same time being stylish. Having wide feet, I love the adjustable straps this sandal has that lets me custom fit to my foot. Even after a long day on my feet, these sandals remain as comfortable as when I first put them on in the morning. I highly recommend this shoe for anyone suffering from foot problems, or even for the person who just wants a comfy adjustable strap on their shoes.

The pewter color is a perfect neutral, goes with everything!

I have four pairs of these sandals, all in different colors, bought within the last eight years. The quality has not changed at all. Love them! They are so comfortable that you almost do not feel wearing them - like walking on fine beach sand - I did not believe this could be possible with any footwear, especially for summer. My feet are wide and very sensitive. You can adjust the width to your preference. And they look so beautiful! The sole is made of remarkable material - moderately soft and provides good support - very ergonomic. Price is their only drawback.

These TAOS slides are extremely comfortable & of such great quality I can wear them all day. At nearly 80 years old my feet tend to swell at the end of the day so the Velcro straps are a huge help to adjust the fit. Having no buckles is optimal & the inner sole can be refreshed with an anti bacterial shoe spray or at times a damp cloth using warm water & herbal soap (like Thieves lemon, rosemary, etc). BEST SLIDES I’VE EVER HAD! ECCO brand slides come a close second, but they changed the materials, so I now buy only TAOS!

This sandal is super comfortable but unfortunately I have to send back because the way the top strap hits, my pinkie toe kind of sticks out. If that strap was slightly thicker it probably would have been ok. Disappointed because otherwise this is an awesome pair of shoes. I'm super picky but at this price point I was expecting perfection.

You can’t go wrong with Taos sandals. They are comfortable and attractive and their colors are subtle and cute.

From a day running around the city to a trip to the beach-- these Taos shoes are comfortable and classy. Arch support is wonderful. I need good arch support, and this is one of my favorite brands for that! The pale neutrals match everything, and the brass ring accents add a bit of glitz. I get so many complements when I wear these!

I had bought a pair of Tao Prize shoes a couple years ago. Since they are pretty expensive, I tend to wear these shoes until I literally wear them out. I have a particularly hard time finding comfortable shoes due to inflammation and fibromyalgia. My feet are especially vulnerable to the “firmness” of shoes and make wearing shoes painful unless they are soft and cushioned in the footbed. I’m also sensitive to things between my toes and how the shoes might rub in all the right places. I have true “Princess and the Pea” issues when it comes to shoes. Im always on the hunt for the perfect shoes, and the vast majority fail to meet my needs and criteria. When I first discovered Taos “Prize” sandals, I was so excited to find the unicorn of shoes - and pretty sandals, no less. Wow! I wore my last pair until the footbed liner separated from the core of the shoe. The core of the shoe was still fine, but the liner had torn and exposed the core and had become uncomfortable to wear. All of the shoe stores I used to be able to find Taos locally had shut down, so I was forced to go online. I thought for sure I was safe buying this shoe again, having loved the last pair to its demise. Boy, was I wrong! The shoe has been redesigned. It may “appear” to be the same in appearance and name, but it is quite different in its structure and I greatly dislike this shoe! I’m so, so disappointed! Everything I loved about the shoe has been redesigned. The straps on top are stiffer and do not have the soft, suppleness of the last pair. They now rub on my feet in ways they didn’t use to. The footbed does not have the soft suede top liner. The footbed is now one piece, as in there isn’t the core cushion plus the top liner. It is supposed to be microbial, but I don’t care about this feature. The worst change of all is the footbed itself is no longer a wonderful cushion. It is dense and firm! The redesign has ruined the most important feature! Now these shoes hurt my feet along with all the thousands of other shoes out there that are firm, hard, scratchy and uncomfortable. Oh and it is now a “molded” footbed with built in arch support that is most unwelcome since it presses into the pressure points of my feet and make them hurt. I could honestly cry as I don’t know what else I can wear when it comes to sandals. These Taos were the first shoes that made me feel like I could wear comfortable, stylish shoes during the summer. Why, oh, why would they change and ruin a great shoe like this?!? Thanks a lot, Taos, you’ve made your shoes just like all the other shoes on the market. You ruined what made this shoe so great for people like myself, who suffer with foot pain due to inflammation and fibromyalgia.
