I paid $999 shipped and was somewhat apprehensive because of the lack or no reviews. I had a list of wants for a RTT and this tent had them all. It was delivered by CEVA on time and with care. There was a punctured tray on the box. When I opened the box there was no structural damage and only a tear in the plastics protective covering. I lucked out! This thing is heavy and requires at least 2 strong people to maneuver and lift. A 2rd would be ideal. Two of us had no problem lifting and setting it on the cross bars. The hardware is inside a pouch inside the tent so don’t panic like I did. The ladder was also inside. It opened up super easy, but closing it was more time consuming. Make sure all material is tucked in before latching. The rails and shell are all aluminum and they utilized a pretty think rubber seal around the tent. Other than finding the ideal spot, it bolted securely with no issues. I was impressed that they included a ratcheting wrench….As for using this RTT I will have to report back later. The ladder is made of plastic is my only negative so far but in no way a deal breaker.
