Bought this for my dad who was in a nursing home. I didnt know there was a difference in the type of power strips until this search. It passed inspection. Very heavy duty feel. Cord plenty long enough for our needs.Only con the plastic caps are soooo hard to open and close. I thought there was a special catch so I read other reviews to see if an issue. Learned hard to open. Used a knife and then carefully trimmed the clasp down until it was eaaier to open/close.

Got this for use in a long term care facility. Maintenance approved it. Works like a perfect charm. No mess, no fuss.

I am a nursing home resident and this is the only rated extension device allowed for residential use here. Kind of "pricey", but worth it to not be hassled by the administrators. Other extension devices are regularly disallowed for safety concerns, but I've never had a problem with anyone over its use. My laptop, smartphone, USB hub and my toothbrush, of all things, are plugged into it as I type.

This is a quality surge protector. High cost but built for commercial hospital use. I liked the long cord and the quality. I ordered the 20 amp strip cause that would match River testing on our outlets at the breaker box. Unfortunately the 20 amp version only comes with a non standard outlet plug. We would need to y our outlets to be about to use this strip. Not something we wanted to do.Another note is that it came poorly packaged to us and with the weight of the power strip the box was damaged. Needs to be better protected for shipping. The strip is solid though and didn’t appear damaged.Nice and solid quality. Would have wanted to keep it. Wish they offered the 15 amp version with a long cord option.

Heavy duty for our OR. It meets all requirements for our OR and for AAAHC certification. Expensive but happy.

Over priced in my opinion, but very good quality. Perfect for a sit stand desk power solution.
