Used for daily correspondence and bill payments. Computer was not able to load the operating software.

Bought for my mother as an email/casual gaming desktop replacement; was never carried around, only opened and closed a few times a day. After 3 months the frame near the right hinge distorted with a loud crack. I reported it to Lenovo noting it's casual usage and here is a relevant excerpt of their response: "Upon checking on your issue, this kind of damage is something that we can consider as physical damage or an accidental damage on the computer. The current warranty entitlement of the machine registered appears to be a standard warranty only, which means it only covers the hardware failures on the machine. When a warranty is identified to be standard, it means it does not actually cover any kind of physical or accidental damage. This damage on the PC does not void the warranty entitlement and as an option, we can still offer warranty claim and have this machine repaired; however, this is going to be a billable repair, our technicians will send the billable quotation after diagnosing the extent of damage. Furthermore, the repair will only proceed once the charges has been settled. With regards to the estimation of the price, we cannot exactly drop a specific amount as it will depend on the technicians who will be working on the computer."

The amount of ram and storage is a phenomenal deal for the price. HOWEVER, I was under the impression that this was a factory Lenovo product, but it most definitely is not. It is likely still Lenovo, but the seller is installing upgraded ram and SSD storage to the device and selling as a factory item. I found this out by going in the device info and pulling up data with the serial number from Lenovo's website, and come to find out, the Laptop originally had a 1/4 ft the memory and ram than I received. On top of this, the upgraded SSD wasn't set up properly and the PC had some slight difficulties communicating with the internal SSD.

works well, beautiful and sophisticated

I use this laptop maybe once or twice a week. After about a month or so the hinge started to come apart. I contacted lenovo through email to explain my issue and seek warranty coverage. They told me that the warranty doesn't cover damage. I explained that it is not damaged, it's falling apart. It has not been dropped, squished, stepped on ect ect. The laptop is not damaged. After their initial response I have not been able to get a response from anyone. This laptop is very poorly assembled from cheap materials. Has a very cheap feel to it. I expected better for $400 but I guess this is Biden's America, where everything costs double compared to before 2021.

It's always updating and shutting down on me in the middle of things 😒 even when I clicked do not restart .... It has lost all my work progress because of the updates ... I was late to a team's meeting ... it's ridiculous and the updates take forever
