Good, but connection can be a bit iffy
Not a bad thermometer once you get past the tricky bluetooth set up and connection issues. This seemed easy enough to set up, just scan the QR code in the instruction book, install the app and connect to the thermometer, if only it was that easy. Yes, the first time was trouble free, but half way through cooking it decided to disconnect which I did not notice until I checked it, which meant I had no idea how long it had left to cook. I had to uninstall the app and start again as it would not connect via bluetooth.Once it was connected it did the job fine, it kept track of how my chicken was cooking and alerted me to when it was up to the required temp. Make sure you read the instructions so that you insert the thermometer deep enough to get an acurate reading as it needs to be in pretty deep, so would not really work on thin peices of meat as it needs a bit of thickness to get a reading. One thing I did not like (apart from the connection issues) is that for chicken, there seems to be only 2 options, medium well (70. 0c) or fully well done (75.0c) cant understand why you'd want your chicken under cooked? also I like to make sure it is properly cooked, so would have liked the option of increasing the temp to 80.0c as i am always over careful when it comes to poultry, but this is not an option, guess I'll just leave it in a bit longer. As a thermometer, it does its job, the app is fine, if a little basic and once you get past the initial set up it works ok, but can you justify paying this much when you can buy a wired thermometer for around £10. Yes it looks very smart and will probably impress your foodie friends, but at the end of the day, its a lot of money for something thats not really needed.

Initially a little sceptical, but impressed
So we’ve got a meat thermometer already, but its the kind you just poke in the meat/food/cake, so having one that you can leave in the meat whilst it cooks and not have to keep taking it out of the oven/bbq is a big bonus. Connection to my phone was quick and easy via the app, and the app pretty easy to use and set up for cooking to preferred level of cooking(rare-well done). The app infact does quite a lot, there’s pre set cooking perimeters and the app will give you a count down to when the food is predicted to be at the desired cooked temperature. All of this came in a neat little pouch with instructions and everything needed to get going(smartphone not included). There has been mention in the reviews of temperature accuracy. Our experience so far when compared to our other trusty thermometer is that these are only reading about 2-3 degrees Celsius lower than expected. We did notice. We did notice that some the translations to English were a little off in the manual and on the app. It does also say on the app that depending on your cooler/bbq the Bluetooth signal can be reduced, although so far we’ve had no issues at all

Takes the Guess Work Out of Cooking!
This dual pack of meat cooking Thermometers will assist any budding chef cook the perfect meat dish! You receive a black case containing two wireless app controlled thermometers housed in a rather stylish bamboo type wooden block. The block also acts as a charging stand. You also get a Bluetooth repeater/extender so that you can extend your Bluetooth range away from you kitchen/BBQ area. I found the instruction pretty poor and i did struggle to set up the device initially. You need to download a free app to set up the thermometers, the problems started when i had to select a model number, i was unable to find this on the listing or the instruction manual. Eventually i managed to find the right model, but i could only get one thermometer to connect then this quickly disconected! After much tinkering it turned out that both thermometers were completely void of any charge. Leaving them connected to a battery pack resulted in both now being identified in the app. Once connected you select your thermometer and then tell it what meat you are cooking, you have a wide variety of meat to choose from, ranging from Poultry, Pork, Beef and even Venison. You then pick your cooking style, medium or well done. It's a very basic app with a poor user interface but it's functional and works.I wanted this to help with BBQ food in the summer, clearly at this time it's not BBQ weather so i tested this on a ham joint. I have to say it worked well with the app alerting me to when it was cooked, and it was cooked to perfection! You can use the thermometer in the oven/grill/fryer and a BBQ. Temperatures of up to 300c are perfectly fine for this device. In summary this is a great bit of kit, very stylish and practical, it's just let down by poor instructions and a not so great app. However i would recommend this to others who enjoy cooking - it will definitely get some summertime BBQ use in our household and i can't wait to use it in the garden!I hope that you found my review helpful.

Good Meat Thermometer
I got the meat thermometer because I needed something for when I am cooking roasts in the oven or on the grill. It comes with a app for mobile phone which makes it very useful, and the fact that you can monitor two roasts at the same time on the phone’s app makes it a great gadget to have in the kitchen. I like that it sends an alarm when the meat is cooked after you set it on the app.I feel it is a bit pricy BUT I would recommend it if you want to make your your meat is cooked all the way through.
