Handle broke first use like so many other customers reported. This is actually the second one I bought, like a dummy. Fool me once..... 🙄For the price it's crazy that this is a known problem. I have a junk 8x8 true temper steel tamper with a steel handle that is indestructible. If they just added a steel handle to this it would be an awesome product! I bought this thing and practiced a couple days on small 2x2 sections of concrete in order to make my stamping process worked before pouring the patio.The day before I was going to pour, the handle broke right at the urethane. I undid the hardware to extract what I could from the base. The metalic pipe that fits inside the fiberglass handle slid right out, but the part of the fiberglass handle inside the urethane was glued in place... why wasn't the metal piece glued inside of the handle? There's no way that the metalic piece could add stress relief to the handle if it's not glued, preferably with silicon. With the melalic piece just sitting inside the fiberglass, all the stress of impact gets focused right where the handle enters the base, which is where my handle broke. This is either a poor design or else Bon forgot to glue the metal into the handle.Bon has not responded to my email about warranty. I think they want me to just send the remnants to them and pray for service. That there is poor customer service.Ask yourself: would you ever want yards and yards of concrete poured and setting, a crew standing there, and the one tool you need has a hollow fiberglass handle?

Avoid this FIBERGLASS handled tamper. Very thin walled fiberglass for something you slam on dirt or concrete. Mine was broken on delivery. I had to use it the next day so I couldn't return it. I had to go to Home Depot and replace it with a wooden posthole digger handle and about an hour+ of modification. My picture shows the wall thickness, do you think it will stand up to slamming on the ground? Buy a solid handled version or prepare for repairs. What would happen if this broke during a concrete stamp job? Good luck!

The fiberglass handle is weak. We snapped it stamping second time of use.
