Laguiole Production - 24 Piece Multicoloured Cutlery Set - Set of Stainless Steel and ABS Cutlery for 6 People- Presentation Gift Box

I returned this without using it. One look told me this was wrong in every sense. The packaging was shoddy and ill fitting, sharp edges on the spoons, fork tines were uneven, none of the items were correctly manufactured with the beetle logos awkwardly attached and did not look like genuine Laguiole beetles. The quality of the metal was highly suspect also. When compared to authentic Laquiole knives, the difference was stark!

These are fake! A definite rip off. Not only would tongues be hurt by the edges of spoons and bent forks but the protruding rivets on the handles. would damage fingers too. I feel sorry for the manufacturers who have their reputation ruined by products such as these and Amazon should be ashamed of themselves to sell this product. I call on them to withdraw it straight away. It arrived today and will be returned tomorrow.

This is increasingly bad. I have laguiole for years and the quality of this set is at or with the cheapest cutlery you can find at Argos. The edges are sharp, the fork teeth are bent and the failures ar borderline dangerous (see picture). Unacceptable quality. I even wonder if it isn’t a fake copy.

Really disappointed with these lovely colour but the quality of the metal and finish of the metal was not the quality expected. The spoons for example appeared hard and brittle around the edge and the metal appeared somehow tinny. I first came across this make in a little tea room... These were not of the same quality so returning

I have been getting new cutlery and because my French inlaws use this brand I was familiar with the style and liked using the cutlery. So I bought this as part of an extensive purchase of Laguiole cutlery. It's a nice looking set with the unique familiar Laquiole styling that I really like, made even nicer by the bright colours that the set comes in. I think that although the forks seem a little thin the set is looks good and has a good quality feel. The set seems robust but only time will tell on that, style wise they are unique enough and the design has been around for years to always look right . They came in a nice wooden tray, however I don't need the tray, but a nice touch. These are cheap enough and represent great value. The also go well with set of La Rochere glasses that I have. Overall a purchase that I am very happy with

Initially I was happy with this product, it was bright and looked like decent quality for the price... However I have just been eating some food, and bit into something hard (nearly cracked a tooth) I took it out my mouth to be shocked to see it was the piece of metal that are on the side of the cutlery. That could have been a child that swallowed it and choked!! Absolutely disgusted that there is no warning that this can happen!! Don't waste your money on something that is clearly a choking hazard!!

Bought this item for a Christmas present for my Mother. We have a selection of cuterly sets and the quality of this item is appalling in comparison to all other sets. Researching the brand and knowing the name I would have expected more. Each piece has inserted coloured plastic handles, the plastic is fitted poorly, in some cases does not fit. The actual metal part is light, flimsy and looks like it could be easily broken. Feeling the completed piece in my hand I would pass is as cheap Christmas cracker surprises as opposed to an expensive fun set for use at a dinner party. Do not honestly think I will use this item ever again. Very disappointed!

I wanted this set for the lovely colours for my kitchen table use, so I was not concerned that they might be cheap quality. Seriously, even within those expectations, these were truly rubbish. Tiny spot welded bees, misplaced plastic handles, I am expecting them to disintegrate within the first few uses...I have purchased other cheap cutlery in the past which were amazing after 10 years, these are appalling :(
