Feels like a good base layer, the size was larger than expected so I have returned for a size smaller.This is the sizing chart on the box, it's much more accurate.

I bought this as part of my kit for climbing Mt Blanc having never owned one before. What an awesome base layer. It is warm,m comfortable, it wicks sweat away, dries super quickly, resists stinking (too much) even after 3 days of non-stop wear on the mountain. I am super impressed by merino base layers now and this one particularly. I think few people said to go down a size, so I bought medium (I would normally buy large) and medium was perfect. Brilliant top.

This is a thin underlayer. It wont keep you warm on its own, but when worn as part of a simple layering system it does what its supposed to do, very well.It was very slightly scratchy when I first put it on, but after half an hour I stopped noticing, and the every time I have worn it since it doesn't feel scratchy at allI'm 182cm 5'11.5" in weight, weight 84 kg, slim to muscular build with slightly longer than usual arm, I usually wear a size 15.5 formal shirt. This top is well but generously fitted - ideally it could be tighter, but may shrink slightly when washed. It's tighter than a t-shirt would normally be, but not snug.The sleeves are slightly longThe quarter zip and minimal collar is good, when zipped up fully it keeps a bit of wind out

I'm a 5.11 (180 cm) 165 pound (75 kilos) guy and the medium fit me perfectly. I used it for a hiking trip when the average daily temperature was around 15 degrees Celsius and during the night it would go down to around 8. I found the shirt to be perfect as a base-layer under my jacket when standing still but also worked good to hike in without any jacket over when the temperature is more on the chilly side. The arms can be pulled up easily and the zip can be pulled down for some needed ventilation. Even if you sweat in it, it'll keep you warm and dries up quickly. I used it for 5 days in a row now and does not smell bad either.I recommend this product!

This is a very light, thin base layer. However its performance is excellent. In very cold weather it is warm and when working hard up steep slopes it breathes well and after a hard day hiking the product actually has no 'unpleasant' odours. Have worn it throughout this winter in hail, rain and snow and it is an excellent base layer. Washes well (follow the instructions) and dries quickly. Very pleased with this and its value. Will definitely buy again or similar

Good fit. Size as expected. I liked the close fitting neck band, not too tight, not too loose and goes up the neck slightly (good for those us with arthritis in the neck. That's where the positives stop. I tried it on and felt colder. I took it off and felt warmer. My guess is it wicks sweat well but also wicks heat. Not for me. Back it goes.

I work outside in the railways and use the top on the coldest of cold days. Its without doubt the warmest top underlayer ive ever worn, it's too hot at times and need to open the zip neck to regulate your body temperature.It's really really warm, comfortable and an absolute bargain to be honest.

As you would expect very warm to wear although when it arrived I thought it was very thin don't let this fool you it is a great jersey .The only problem I have is the sleeves are a little on the long side but do turn up with no problem .Wash inside out before wearing if you have a sensertivity to wool
