Blue Buffalo Wilderness Denali Dinner High Protein, Natural Dry Dog Food with Wild Salmon, Venison & Halibut 4-lb

Feels really good knowing that I'm feeding an extension of my family such nutritious, healthy, and responsibly sourced food. I have a white American Eskimo - so he is quite furry. He was having some type of skin problems with the previous food I fed him, which was chicken. I try to switch back and forth between salmon and something else to ensure that he is not bored with his food but I guess don't fix what's not broken. His skin care has cleared up and he loves this food so much! Remember this helpful tip I learned: feed your dog something that he/she would have eaten had they live in the wild - for my Eskie, it is salmon 100%.

I’ve never had a problem with this brand of food or the Amazon delivery. Just wanted to give a heads up that Amazon may need some rodent traps or a cat to control them! Pretty sure the hole in the food bag was from a rodent and the box was untouched.

Because of the COVID pandemic, I was forced to purchase this dog food online instead of going to the pet store. Not only is it more convenient to have it delivered to my front door but it is significantly cheaper. I have learned that my dog has trouble digesting hard kibbles. I now soak her food in hot water for about 30 minutes. This allows the kibbles to swell up prior to them swelling up in her stomach which absorbs a lot of the gastric juices that should be digesting the food. She is less bloated and also less likely to vomit the mostly undigested, swollen kibbles. Plus the hot water makes a soft of aromatic gravy that she loves to smell.

I mix this dry food with the Blue Buffalo Wilderness canned foods. My dogs love it and they look beautiful. Their coats are growing well, they look healthy and they love this food.

We love this Dog food and will continue to use it. Im only giving it four stars vs five because our dogs always seem hungry after eating this dog food. We give the recommended amount on package so im not sure why its happening. ( yes we have tried a ton of other dog foods). HOWEVER this dog food makes their hair the softest and shiniest out of all the dog food brands we have tried. It has helped clear up skin issues as well.

Great ingredients. Our dog loves this stuff. Sure we spoil him with this. But he's a part of the family. He protects us and we protect him.

One of our golden retrievers began to scratch and gnaw the skin on his feet and legs and nearly lost all hair there. After much trial and error as to cause, we finally switched him from another blue buffalo product of chicken and rice to this Denali with venison, salmon and haddock. Within 3 weeks his hair began growing back and he stopped chewing on himself. We have since switched our other three goldens to Denali as well. Recommending it for restoring dry skin and coats.
