So delicious!
This is amazingly nice, I made a quick mushroom curry in the microwave with it to test. Oh my!1/2 big onion cut in small cubes, put in a 1l pyrex jug and microwave (900w) open (throughout) with a pat of butter for 2 minutes, stir, 1 more minute. Add 1 heaped teaspoon of paste, stir. Cook 1 more minute, then add 300 gram of whole mushrooms (just wipe, no cutting), 3-4 quartered cherry tomatoes mix well and cook for 5 minutes, stirring at minute 2 and 4. Pour the curry on a plate, add a baked potato and fried bangers and you'll be happy!

Better than most rending paste available in UK
Better made the day before and with braising steak that has been cooked for a couple of hours before adding to the paste. Lovely coconut beef curry sauce and not too hot.

Found this 'in store a few years ago and it has huge flavour and good heat. Not sure why but this has been discontinued in all stores I usually buy but I found here on Amazon and am thrilled as it was a regular in my menu on a monthly basis.Just add veg and or meat with coconut milk and you're on your way.

Had son and daughter in law round for dinner last night. They loved this curry, I did do chicken instead of beef this time. My son said it was the best curry he had tasted outside of a restaurant!! Did add red onions. Just so quick and easy. Did make the day before which I think always improves the flavour. Will be ordering again.

This tastes great. Very similar to what i have eaten in the far east. Used to have for breakfast every day with a chipati in the hotel. Well addictive.

Bought this hoping it would have some heat to it. I wasn't disappointed the spicing is good, the warmth creeps up on you. I made it and reheated the following day reducing the liquid down. A jar of sauce and a can of coconut milk seems right when reduced down. Have bought a further supply and am hoping the nasi goreng comes back into stock to try. Definately better than the supermarket varieties.

Superb product! Follow the recipe on the jar and add a few potatoes and you have a very tasty dish.

Yummy flavour
yum yum.. BUT Sainsbury's sell this for less. let it simmer really slowly for hour after hour so it is almost dry. Mine slow cooks on the lowest heat for about 8-9 hours, stirring every hour or so.

Smooth transaction and product arrived in perfect condition.
1. Cut beef into bite size pieces. 2. Heat 1 tbs oil in a deep frying pan/wok, add the Rendang paste and 1tbs coconut milk, stir fry until aroma is released. 3. Add the beef, mix well and fry until cooked. 4. Add the rest of the coconut milk and bring to a boil and stir. 5. Lower the heat and simmer until the sauce reduces, thickens and coats the meat. 6. Serve with rice or noodles. You may substitute beef with chicken.
Tip: If using stewing steak, simmer for longer until cooked and you will need 400 ml coconut milk. Keep for a day in the fridge after cooking, the flavour is better on day two. Make sure to reheat thoroughly before serving!
