Starbucks House Blend -- whole, so I can grind it fresh myself -- is my single favorite coffee in the whole world. So smooth, so flavorful, and so NOT burnt-tasting! But I can't get it in my local supermarket anymore. Worse, I can't even buy it from Starbucks. (I hope they haven't discontinued it!)Amazon to the rescue! The price is a little steep, but that's understandable for a product you can't get anywhere else. I like being able to buy in bulk and freeze the extra packages until I need them.When these first arrived, I was a little concerned because I couldn't see an expiration date on any of the packages. However, my fears were relieved when I opened a bag and brewed my first cup. The taste was perfectly fresh and just as I remembered it. I'm happy knowing that I've loaded up with enough of my favorite coffee for quite a while.

This is a medium roasted coffee with a caramel or creamy flavor. Not like a dark roasted bean.

I personally only drink dark brewed coffee without additives such as sugar or cream. However, I ordered these Starbuck mocha coffee pods for my wife who prefers drinking flavored coffee. One morning I accidently put one of these Mocha pods in our Keurig thinking it was my normal Peetes Major Dickenson pod and was surprised how smooth the coffee was particularly with a subtle hint of dark chocolate in the background. Having been in the retail coffee business in the past, I've had occasion to sample numerous types of flavored and unflavored coffee and can say without a doubt that this particular mocha coffee was easily the best I've sampled. It's Starbuck's so it is more expensive, but if you like a flavored coffee, you should give it a try, your taste buds will love you for it.

I love the Veranda Blend and I buy it for my office. But people might want to know, the description says there's 80 packets in the box, but there's really only 76.

This coffee is amazing! Tastes great.
