The product was delivered quick. Nice piece to add to the collection. It does what it suppose to do. It stings and will leave marks.When you get it you will need to straighten it out. I used a little bit of steam and had no problems.

This arrived by USPS in a plastic bag. Inside the plastic bag was a very cheaply made woven fabric black drawstring bag.Inside of the crappy drawstring bag resided the 16 plait crop.The crop was very tightly zip tied into a tight curl with two ties. Evidently the makers had not let the paint, yes, paint, not dye, dry thoroughly prior to zip tying it into a curl, so the fall was stuck to the body of the crop in two places. Where it came unstuck, the paint peeled off of the plaiting leaving bare un-dyed white leather.After getting it unstuck and peeling it apart, the crop remained so tightly curled as to be useless.Had they let the paint dry before the zip ties were applied, and then curled it, maybe it would be better...The fall is so stiff as to be more like a blade than a fall.I am going to soak it in luke warm water and try to get it to relax. Hang it from the wrist strap and allow it to dry very thoroughly, and then put a buttload of leather dressing on it. Maybe it will eventually be of some utility, but I doubt it.The sad part it, the plaiting of the leather is pretty well done. What a waste.I would NOT buy this again.It will cost more time and $$ to return it than it is worth.Edited to add that it is only 16 plait for about 1/2 the length from the butt. After that it becomes an 8 plait as it narrows. I suppose this will make it better for beating on rocks or whatever, but the 16 plait sexiness drops by a LOT. Meh.

The whip is very well made and I was astonished by the quality for the money. A great addition to our collection. When used properly the whip commands respect and attention.

Beautifully made. Needs to be straighten when opening with a book, but otherwise perfect. Good quality.

This is by far my hubby’s favorite whip. He likes the length and the snap.

This is lightweight and thick at the same time and permanently bent even after a month of use. I would never re-buy this whip.

Is not real leather.feels like there is foam in the middle.forget about accuracy. And I ordered brown and received black.well live and learn
