Favorite water hose. Easy to manage.

I had gotten used to using different kinds of expandable hoses but I couldn't get used to how delicate many of them are when used around rocks and paver stones. Eventually every one of the old expandable hoses would rupture, get permanently stretched out or lose their fittings. This hose is different in that it does not expand in length but it collapses flat (like a fire hose) to make the hose lightweight and easy to roll. I think I may eventually get a reel for this because it would be easier to handle that way. My only complaint is the tendency for the hose to kink and cut off your water supply but I think this could be mitigated with the use of a hose reel. Right now mine is just looped up and left on a corner of my patio so the kinking issue is partly my fault. The hose appears to be constructed with quality materials and I believe it will outlast the other lightweight hoses I've owned.

The media could not be loaded. I bought what I thought would be a good hose from Him Depow but it was so smelly like plastic chemicals and was impossible to coil up. I found this one at my local Wally for $64!? Luckily, Amazon was less than half price. This is so convenient and water does not smell at all. I can drink without worrying about dying of contamination and also when I water my vegetables I feel better now. It has many folds/kinks when you turn off the spigot, release pressure, and put it away but those pop out with the water pressure when you turn the spigot back on so I don’t see it as a problem. The materials seem sturdy enough to withstand typical yard and garden environs.

When you attach this hose to the spigot water exudes everywhere. Customer service responded quickly and sent me a new hose and the new hose did the exact same thing. Just buy a regular hose this one doesn't work at all.

I have tried several lightweight hoses to water the flowers on my deck. Usually they don’t last long and leak. Not this one, no leaks and is still in good condition 6 months later. Light and easy to move around.

Unpackaged 100 foot hose, made sure there were no kinks, hooked up to my faucet turned on the water and the hose burst within the first 10 seconds. I’m assuming it was a manufacturer defect, I’ll submit for a replacement and update if replacement has any better durability. It comes with a 10 year warranty, so I’m hoping this is just an unusual situation.UPDATE: Company sent me a replacement, and this one has not failed. Used it about 3 weeks now. So far so good. I honestly don’t think this hose will last ten years as advertised…..but we shall see!!

Kinks easy. Holding the end of hose, the hose hangs down from my hand and closes off a lot of the water flow. Hose is lightweight which is great. Easy to loop around hose hanger. Just wish hose didn’t bend over so easy. Lightweight means it can kink. Take away the lightweight part, hose would be hard to manage.
