Dia Compe 94 Mushroom Ferrule (Bag-10)

I used these on a set of vintage first gen Dura Ace Levers that were missing the end button fittings for the cable housing. I had a hard time trying to find the right name for what I was looking for (end button) and once I finally did, there weren't too many places to find them online. Luckily I found these and it comes with enough to do 5 sets of levers, which is nice. If you're trying to figure out what they do, they're basically just a cable stop that holds the brake cable housing on top of the levers and allow the cable to slide into the levers and create tension without moving the housing. If your brake levers are missing this end button, they won't work without it.These were the last parts needed to finish the build, so it was nice to finally get the right thing and get my bike on the road.The finish on them is nice and shiny right out of the bag, so if you don't plan on using lever hoods, they still look good.I hope this helps someone in the future and makes their experience a little easier than mine.

I wish I didn't have a buy a bag of 10. But in a pinch, these are necessary. They worked great on an old Schwinn 1977 steel frame bike.

Built up two retro bikes with Dia Compe non-aero levers. These work great. They are a bit loose fitting so I dab a drop of super glue and let set, before fitting the rubber hood.

Fits my Brake levels as advertised. Used on a old Reighly GrandPrix
