Poor;y edited with sections missing and basic mistakes.
I learnt Nepali in 1989 and spoke it for two years. I re-learnt it in 2016 and 2017 for two trekking visits. On both occaisions I used a previous edition of the LP Nepali Phrasebook to revise. It was excellent. Unfortunately I lost the book and my flash cards during a house move. I bought this later edition for a trip in November 2023.There are basic errors and the printing has ommitted sections. The numbers in the quick foldout sections at the back are wrong; the numbers start at one but the Nepli word starts at "zero" - so they are all out by one place i.e. "1" is listed as sun-ya - it should be "ek". The worst error is on page 24. the bottom of the page says "...the following endings are added to the infinitive: " The endings are not there - the next page starts with a list of essential verbs. Nepali verbs are easy but you need the basic structure. This edition should be withdrawn and properly re-written. Very, very disappointing.
