Brilliant game!
Never really played Assassin's Creed but fancied this one due to the Ancient Egyptian world and hearing good reviews. It is a brilliant game, and easy to get into even for someone who hasn't played the series. The landscape is superb with excellent detail, and even now after completing the game there are still so many quests and activities to complete, despite the fact that I have played the game already for near to 70 hours. Every region of Egypt has its own distinct qualities and feels different to any other area of the country. Bayek, the lead character, is an interesting figure, who you feel genuine empathy with, and is a very likable figure to play through for all them hours. The overarching story of the whole series (the 'assassin's creed') takes up 5-10% of the game but isn't too complicated to understand and does not take away from the game itself.Overall, Assassin's Creed Origins is a superb game, with excellent graphics, and a brilliant story (featuring some key key figures from Egyptian and Roman history), which will keep you entertained for a long time.

Great introduction to AC
This was my first Assasins Creed game as I was looking for something similar to Tomb Raider after completing them. This is great fun, a ton to explore, easy to navigate and control just remember to do the check points (fast travel) as you go! I never did until towards the end so I spent a lot of time riding my camel haha.

Would give 3.5 stars if I could.
If you've been a fan of the AC franchise since 2007 this entry in the series might leave you feeling a bit disappointed, yes - it does look incredible as others have mentioned, but that's not what makes a good game. A good game should be fun above all else, unfortunately, as with most Ubisoft titles of late, there are a lot of side quests/collectibles/pointless things to do that make the game feel overwhelming and tedious more often than not.Ubisoft have also decided to completely ruin the combat system (although I didn't play syndicate so this may have already happened) - In Black Flag and previous entries you could really link your attacks and defence together fluently (after a bit of practice) because the game enabled you to do that. I often fired up AC II just to run around picking a fight with soldiers (because it was fun).Sadly, Origins doesn't manage this, the combat often descends into button mashing, I seldom used the shield (or anything other than light/heavy attack because it is so clunky to use and once you have good weapons it's not necessary at all). There are also 'Boss fights' at various stages throughout the game which seems completely wrong in an AC game (think Ryse mixed with Mortal Kombat - they're just odd and usually tedious, run away, run back, mash buttons etc, yawn). Most of the side quests are the same (mechanically), essentially you 'talk' to character in world, they waffle on about something that doesn't add to the immersion or the main story in any meaningful way. Then (nearly always) you go somewhere and 'click' on things that are highlighted in a room, Bayek will say something about the object (which you don't need to pay attention to) and then you go to the next place to kill someone, rinse and repeat, it gets tedious, fast. The game is riddled with Americanisms and modern day agendas( which is odd given the game is set thousands of years ago), and also really ruined the immersion for me at times. They've also implemented one of the strangest menu systems I've seen in a long time (although it is probably very friendly for the PC crowd, hint). There are some nice touches, like the autonomous horses (so you can just take in the scenery while your horse takes you to your destination). The pyramid exploration is also very well done and really adds to the atmosphere of the game.Overall: If you've never played an AC game before you'll probably have fun with this game. otherwise, don't get your hopes up.

un juego para adultos
Lo compré como un regalo para un adulto que lo quería. No es un juego para niños, no solo por la violencia, sino por el lenguaje utilizado (muchas palabrotas).
