Excellent product

I bought this as I am an avid viewer of Spain on a Fork on YouTube and it is recommended. Lovely to have a large tin since just about every meal seems to have saffron in. I was very surprised at the amount (weights mean little to me). Not small at all and works out at a great value against the 3 strands I buy in the supermarket at £3.95.

Normally add it to tea tastes very nice but the saffron came dry but once added to tea tastes same but due to the dry saffron alot has crushed

As someone who uses about 2 grams of saffron a month, I’ve used the Spanish brands for a number of years and buying from Indian supermarkets these costs around £1 to £1.75 per gram. This is significantly more expensive and I expected to get the much stronger flavoured negin ( Persian or Afghan) saffron. This is no different in reality to the standard Spanish one I get for a much lower price. The flavour and colour aren’t any different.
