Review: The Surmen GT61 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard has changed the way I play games totally, and I'm so happy about it! This keyboard goes above and beyond all expectations. Its small size and lightning-fast response time make it a real game-changer in the world of gaming accessories.Let's begin with the plan. The GT61's 60% layout is not only sleek and stylish, but it also makes great use of room. Its small size means it doesn't take up much space on your desk, which gives you more room to move the mouse and makes game sessions less tiring on your wrists. Plus, the USB-C cable can be taken off, which makes it even more portable. This makes it easy to bring to LAN parties or game tournaments. But what really makes the GT61 stand out is how well it performs. With its high-quality mechanical switches, this keyboard responds very quickly and gives you satisfying feedback every time you press a key. When I'm typing like crazy during long gaming sessions or doing complicated moves in my favorite fighting game, the GT61 never skips a beat.I also like that the RGB backlighting can be changed. It adds a little flair to my game setup and lets me make the keyboard fit my mood or the way I like to play. The program that came with it makes it easy to change the lighting effects and macros, which gives me full control over how I play games. Not only is the GT61 great for gaming, it's also fun to type on for everyday jobs. It's easy for me to type, whether I'm writing emails, chatting with friends, or surfing the web, thanks to the strong build and ergonomic keycaps. The Surmen GT61 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is a great choice for gamers who want a small keyboard with great performance, style, and mobility. It is a must-have for any game setup because of how well it is built, how quickly it responds, and how many features can be changed. I strongly advise gamers of all skill levels to try it out!

Surmen 60% Wireless Gaming Keyboard Review: A Compact Powerhouse
The media could not be loaded. I recently got my hands on the Surmen 60% Wireless Gaming Keyboard, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I initially bought it for my daughter who has recently enjoyed swapping keycaps and switches on some of my boards. I wanted to buy a more budget option for her as she is only 7. She had a great time building it but, since she is 7, has no real use for it lol. Anyways I started using it for my ipad and i’m SUPER impressed. I also want to note before I start that my expectations were not very high, this is a budget board but a pretty nice one in my opinion.First and foremost, the compact design of this keyboard is a game-changer. The 60% layout means it takes up significantly less desk space compared to a full-sized keyboard, making it perfect for people who prioritize a clutter-free setup. Despite its size, Surmen hasn't compromised on functionality. All the essential keys are present and accounted for. Gamers would probably love this layout as it allows you to bring the mouse closer to your hands during game play. One of the standout features of this keyboard is its wireless capability. It was easy to setup and the connection has been smooth and responsive. The Gateron switches on the Surmen 60% keyboard are incredibly solid and responsive. It has customizable RGB lighting, allowing you to personalize the keyboard. The build quality is robust, and the keycaps feel durable.Another noteworthy feature is the programmability. With Surmen's user-friendly software or with VIA, I can quickly remap keys and create macros. This keyboards stabilizer’s are plate mounted. The keyboard was delivered with a key/switch puller and some extra keycaps.Battery life is impressive, too, with the keyboard lasting several days on a single charge, depending on usage. Charging is hassle-free with the included braided USB-C cable. One minor drawback could be the learning curve for those who are new to the 60% layout. However, the benefits of increased mouse maneuverability and the overall aesthetics far outweigh the initial adjustment period in my opinion. The Surmen 60% Wireless Gaming Keyboard is an outstanding peripheral that delivers on its promises. Its compact design, responsive switches and customization options make it a great option for anyone looking for a budget mechanical keyboard.Price: BudgetSwitches: Gateron (various styles available)Hot Swappable: Yes // 3 pin styleBluetooth/Wireless: Yes both 5.0 and 3.0Keycaps: PCB (various color options)Profile: OEMLights: Backlit // ProgrammableStabilizers: Plate Mounted

Good starter board
I've built a lot of hot swappable boards from keyboard companies like TKC, KBDFans, NovelKeys, but I decided to give amazon a shot thanks to low price and prime 2-day shipping. The board is nice so far, no latency issues, easy to connect to multiple devices. For the hotswap aspect, I wanted to install the TKC kiwis, but the PCB on this board has different switch slots per key. (ie. the escape key and 1 key don't allow for mount legs, but a majority of the board does) In this case, if your switches have mount legs, you can snip them off and file them down to fit. Most builds under 100% use layers to be able to program keys as the function row, music controls, etc. The main app I've used for programming keyboards is VIA, but this board is not compatible with VIA. I couldn't find a way to customize the layers unfortunately, and that would be my biggest gripe with this board. But it is a sufficient entry board, and a lot cheaper than entry boards on other keyboard sites.

Awesome keyboard
This is a very nice keyboard, but not the best. It can be customized very easily. The keycaps and switches can be replaced. As you can see, I changed the keycaps to make it Nintendo/Mario themed. This keyboard would have been better if the original keycaps were backlit. You miss a lot of the RBG effects with the sublimated keys blocking the light. The glow underneath the keys are not enough in my opinion. That's why I chose the keycaps I did; made no sense getting custom keycaps without changing out all of the keys.

Great little bang for the buck keyboard.
Not only is this thing beautifully colored and wireless, but it also has a wide variety of rgb and brightness settings which is great for using it in the dark for a media center. This thing is solid.
