I purchased this kit to help me with my amplifier install. I love that it comes with the crimper tool. It's very easy to use and I like the assortment of connectors. I used these with 14 and 18 gauge speaker wire. I also used shrink wrap to secure and keep my connections from moving. This is a great inexpensive kit to own for any automotive work.

Purchased this tool as I needed to make several audio and speaker cables and needed various sizes of terminal connector sleeves. Reduced the need to solder using the terminal sleeve. Tool is well made, has a good weight without being heavy or awkward and works as advertised. A generous selection of sleeves that are color coded makes it easier to select the ones you need quickly. It would be a headache if all sizes were the same color to sort through during a project. The crimper fits in your hand and is comfortable and little force is required to crimp the terminal end to your wires. Very happy with this purchase and can see several other stereo, automobile and wiring projects to use this on.

Good quality crimping tool to hold wire strands with ferrule crimps providing a "square" profile after crimping. Easy, light action. Wide selection of ferrule sizes included in a handy storage container. Insulation on ferrules have a circular sleeve as opposed to rectangular so better suited for single wire crimps where a tighter fit between ferrule and wire insulation is preferred, as opposed to joining 2 or more wires onto a single ferrule.
