A new Genrations Harry Potter!!!!!!!!!!! Minus Harry potter and JK Rowling
How can I say this without sounding overjoyed but this book is the next generations Harry Potter, minus the dead parents and minus Jk Rowling in how she is writing now. For fans of Harry Potter seeking a new world to dream in and for those who miss how JK Rowling use to write this new author Jessica Townsend and this book brings you into a brand new magical world filled with its own magical uniqueness that we seek as fans of this genre, Talking big cats, living hotels, Vampire dwarfs and magical societies fill with all kinds of folks, you get it all and main characters who are as lovable and as well as endearing. You will love Morrigan she is the most likable character I have ever seen, she is strong when she needs to be strong, is weak when she is weak but doesn't give up, she lived a life that many of us would feel sorry for her but she moves forward and doesn't let it get her down, mind you its not that easy, but we all have demons in our closets of our souls that we have to deal with. She is quick witted, childish and grown up at the same time, and so funny in many situations but than you also see the little girl side of her with all its vulnerabilities. You meet friends and friendenemies, and a lovable as well and aloof mentor, not a dumbledoore but maybe his cousin who is younger and funnier and a red headed ginger his words not mine lol. You will enjoy this first book of a hopefully epic series to come and enjoy the adventures and yes we got a villain and you will love it, please enjoy this book and be prepared to laugh and cry because the new adventure of MOG will begin!!!!!!!!!!!!

Magic School is back!
Ok Morrigan Crow is cursed, or so she thinks and so does EVERYONE around her! The curse supposedly is that on her 11th birthday she's going to die at Midnight because she was born the unluckiest day of the year, Eventide! Ok then! To all involved, to their surprise, the strangest of men shows up in a cloud of black smoke, Jupiter North and whisk her away to the safety of the secret, magical city NevermoorMorrigan soon realizes that Jupiter has taken her to Nevermoor for her to earn a place in the cities more prestigious organization the Wunderous Society. But to.get that spot she is to compete in.4 difficult & dangerous trials.I love this story, of course everyone is going with the, " it gives HP vibes, and some ways it does.but not a lot. I.think Townsend has done a pretty good job so far separating the two pretty well. I've become to lov we this motley bunch of characters & can't wait to see where they go!Well on her 1th birthday

Absolutely lovely read!
I wanted to give this 4.5 stars rather than 4.I absolutely loved this book. Only reason I would give half less is due to my dislike of Mogs negative Nancy personality. Which reading as an adult is very understandable too given the poor child’s trauma. Hawthorne is my favourite character! Such a brilliant funny friend!

Magical perfection
Magical masterpiece.•Reading aloud to my kids is one of my favorite things that we do together as a family. Now I have a new favorite to add to that: listening to audiobooks in the car, and at dinner, and while the kids are cleaning their room! Nevermoor was our first family audiobook and I cannot rave about this book enough. From Jude to me, this book entertained every one of us. My kids actually asked if we could drive around the neighborhood so we could listen longer.•Jessica Townsend has created a magical world and exciting story that rivals Harry Potter (don’t tell bookstagram but I actually liked it MORE THAN HP) and we are hooked. Book one in this series is full of laugh out loud moments, found family, finding your place in the world, being courageous, doing the right thing, social justice, and exciting adventures. Everyone needs to read this book, but if you can listen to the audiobook, even better, this narrator was astounding.•What is your favorite magical world?•Clean rating: 🧼🧼🧼🧼 it’s middle grade. It’s clean.•

Great read!
The night was uncommon and crowded with possibility.”― Jessica Townsend, Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan CrowThis was such a fun and fast pace read! I was hooked from the beginning! In this debut novel we follow the very lonely Morrigan Crow. She is a cursed child who is counting down the days to her unavoidable death. That is until a red headed stranger comes along and gives her a different choice. It goes without saying that this is an offer she can’t refuse! But this new chance for a different life is not just going to be handed to her; she will need to prove herself and compete for a spot on the Wundrous Society in a magical place called Nevermoor. The magical elements in this book are so pleasantly unique and so refreshingly familiar at the same time. I definitely felt the different inspirations that came to this author and inspired the magic that was introduced in this world. The nostalgia that I got for Roald Dahl, Lewis Carroll, and other great authors is real! I was very happy and excited throughout the entire novel and am looking forward to getting into the next one!

Living in Nevermoor
The first time I read Morrigan Crow, I enjoyed it but wasn’t completely hooked on it. I’ve just read it for the third time and I have to say, it’s one of my personal favorite books. I love Nevermoor. I wish I could live there with Fenestra (the giant Magnificat), Jupiter, Frank and the rest of the gang. The way they celebrate the holidays, the way they travel. Everything is quite extraordinary, and yet quite ordinary at the same time. But these would not be enchanting enough if not for the main character: Morrigan Crow. She is a misfit, misunderstood and someone you completely root for. My favorite kind of character. She is not for all purposes the golden hero who will save the day, nor is she an anti hero. She is a child who longs to be loved and belong, plain and simple. If you haven’t read this book, give it a chance. If you’ve only read it once, give it another go. This book, this world, is a place you’ll want to visit often much like Oz, Hogwarts, Middle Earth and Narnia.
