If you've ever used the common plastic wall anchors, you likely have had problems with them. These have been nothing like that! Nice heavy duty metal anchor that come with screws. No need to pre-drill drywall for the anchor, these are easily installed with a Phillips head screwdriver. Great product especially for the price.

Works great but Prep First!
Bought these when plastic anchors were an epic fail. I Read all the reviews before purchasing and it helped. One tip: test each pair before putting in the wall. Took about 5 minutes but saved so much time. Screw the screw into the anchor until you find a screw that flushes/fits perfectly into the anchor! Made a tiny hole in the wall with a screwdriver, and simply screwed in! NO DRILL.

Sturdy anchors
Pros -These anchors are threaded the whole way - unlike others I have used. This is a great benefit as it makes them easier to install.60 screw sets mean I'll probably never have to buy any more. The load rating is substantial enough that I have been able to install a large mirror with just two of these. I wouldn't rely on the full 50lb load rating unless whatever you are hanging is perfectly flat with the wall.Comes in a convenient box.Phillips screwdriver fits perfectly in the anchor. No concerns of stripping.Cons -The screw is a threads into the anchor a little roughly - pretty standard as it is cutting it's own threads in the anchor. It just doesn't feel quite right if you're not expecting itThe threads on the anchor are not entirely consistent. This is an artifact of the manufacturing process, but if they had a constant thread pitch you'd probably to get more holding power out of these.

Worthless- Don't purchase
Like a few other reviewers said, you screw the anchor in and that works fine. When you put the screw into the anchor, it gets really tight about 1/2 way in. If you turn it hard enough, it will strip the anchor in the drywall leaving a big hole in the wall. If you try and reverse the screw out, the anchor will unscrew so you are left with a hole in the wall.I took about 5 of these out of the box. I put the anchor in my vice and screwed it in with a hand screw driver and also used an electric screwdriver. They all got super tight about 1/2 way in to the point where you'd have to press so hard on the screw to prevent it from slipping. If I had to push that hard on drywall, it would go through it. I had to totally remove the anchor because they stripped up. My only choice was to either patch the hole and paint the drywall and move to a new location or use a different fastener. I ended up using a toggle bolt. That allowed me to mount my item to the wall without extra work. I've used these type of anchors before but never tried the metal type. I'll never use this brand again. I'll get another set of the plastic ones. They seem to work well. At least you can resort to using a toggle bolt if the anchor strips out

I cannot be without them!
I just ordered my second set of these anchors because I use them so much I don’t want to be without them! I hang a lot of the lanterns that I get from Amazon on my walls and they are heavy after they are filled with large candles......and these anchors never fail! I never worry if they will hold up. Also they are so easy to screw in the walls and I can use them without even a pilot hole with my drill. They are so much better than the plastic ones.

Need better quality control.
Good solid product. Will definitely hold lots of weight. Just beware that I have found a couple duds. By did, I mean the screw doesn’t tighten in the anchor, probably a manufacturing defect, about 1 in 5 have given me trouble so far. Check for a tight fit before installing in the wall.

Will hold the cats on the wall!
No, I'm not screwing the cats to the wall... But, these are strong enough to put cat shelves up for the cats to have fun on! We have several "step" shelves, and one large perch just over a window in our living room (~ 50" x 6" x 1" of heavy particle board). The cats climb on these, hang from them, and wrestle on the perch -- much to our kids' horror, but I'm still working on explaining terminal velocity to them -- and the mountings never budge at all.Big winner in my book, works for exactly what I wanted it for.

Ruined my Walls... 🙅🏽♀️
I had the plastic drywall anchors but opted to use these mental ones, thinking it will be better since it claims to hold more weight. When I drilled them into the wall, it just created one big hole size bigger than the screw itself. It did not grip to anything, just made one big whole. How was it supposed to hold any weight if it couldn't stay in the wall? COMPLETE FAIL. Unfortunately, I tried this AFTER the return policy expired so I can not return. I do not recommend on drywall. I gave it 2 star because I will use the screw itself (not the anchor) on its own. Not happy ☹️
